About the host
Hosted by David Wade

This property was purchased by my parents in 1973, and I bought it from them in 1997. We have rented the two houses since then and now are starting to do vacation rental. We have about 8 years in offering a five star vacation experience at another location and really enjoy providing great locations to rest, relax and explore on your vacation.
Why they chose this property
The New Wade Inn Iron River is close to town for groceries, shopping and restaurants. and if you head north on Hwy A you can see Lake Superior in 10 to 15 minutes and buy some fresh Trout in Port Wing or Cornucopia. The towns of Herbster, Cornucopia and Bayfield can also be explored along the south shore and Chequamegon Bay on a nice drive. The Brule River State Forest is only 10 minutes west of Iron River on Hwy 2 and Delta Diner about the same Straight south on Hwy H. Bayfield county has Chequamegon National Forest and many historical museums.
What makes this property unique
This property has a very large driveway to turn around most rigs without having to back up. The kitchen faces east so you can enjoy beautiful sunrises while eating breakfast or having a cup of coffee. The setting sun and the trees on the west side of the property shade the evenings and darkens the bedrooms if you want to turn in early.
