The stay was very enjoyable. The view of the lake was very tranquil, and anyone looking for seclusion and to reacquaint themselves with nature will find that here.
Nice little cabin, but not a very good winter cabin for snowmobiling. Would be a nice spot for a small family or couple in the summer or fall though!

Upon arrival we had a code to get in. In message it said it was tricky. Tried and tried and had to contact the host and after 45 minutes she responded with a different code.
My gf and I enjoyed our stay in this little cabin that had everything we needed. Owner was always quick to respond to questions and was a nice and quiet location right on the lake!
Myself and my 17 year old daughter wanted to explore the WI side of Lake Superior. This place was perfect. Great central location. So peaceful. We sat outside and couldn’t hear any road noise. It was a whole different silence. Amazing!
The cabin was exceptional. Loved the little details and character. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Best to know that there are steps to get down to the little pier on the lake, a little overgrown aka “woodsy”! The lot is small and the cabin just fits between the neighbor and there is a little tiny cabin owned by same Vrbo owner (not in working order yet) on the other side. It will be cute when up and running. Neighbors very friendly! The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy the lake and our time there.
We enjoyed our stay. Caught fish right off pier. Nice pier and lake views. Easy to find. Quiet. Lost power NO storm or wind for 7 hrs(not the owners fault)which made things a bit rough. And had a few issues with the water faucet(kitchen) just trickling, not sure why. Otherwise a nice stay. Great for 2 to 4 people max, in my opinion.
We loved staying at the cabin, but we were only there a few days. The afternoon we arrived was beautiful, but unfortunately, it was the only day of beautiful weather. Later in the week we had to leave the cabin and stayed in a hotel in Ashland. I was born in Ashland, and the trip was to show our grandchildren & daughter what a small town in Wisconsin is like. We had lots of fun and found plenty of things to do. My city-boy Grandsons loved being out in the country and hearing the stories of their grandma's life as a kid.

Check-in was easy and had no problem communicating with the owner. The place itself was small and it is an older cabin. Being right on the water was nice. There are a lot of cobwebs around the house and i didnt want to open windows because of them. The outside could use some TLC and upkeep. Has great potential with a little bit of elbow grease. It was a place to lay our heads down in the evening and we had no issues that required contact with the owners during our stay.
This was a "mostly quiet" getaway for us. There were 2 nights of partying kids next door otherwise it was very peaceful and beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. The only reason for a reduction in stars was because it seemed like we may have been the first visitors of the season and the outdoor spaces were not very inviting. All the outdoor amenities were dusty, cobwebby and just generally dirty. Otherwise it was a lovely visit in a beautiful location. Communication and easy check in/out was great.
People in trailer next adjacent property were filling our garbage container. Should have instructions on how to place it for pick up.
The cabin is well equipped & clean. Cabinets are marked
with description of contents. Very helpful!
