Rangeley Getaway

Beautiful two bedroom, two full baths, open concept close to Saddleback mountain. The upstairs consists of the master bedroom with a california king bed and a full bathroom. The downstairs has a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, and open-concept kitchen and living room with high, vaulted ceilings. Pine walls, ceilings and floors. Enjoy the coziness of a Vermont Castings wood stove. Two powered leather double recliners and a wide screen tv with BOSE surround sound. Internet and WiFi. Hit the ATV and snowmobile trails right from camp. Sleeps four to a max of eight guests (with additional fees) with air mattresses.

A great place to wake up in and to come back to after a day of outdoor activities! Rangeley Lake and Saddleback Lake are minutes away for fishing and all types of water recreation, and it goes without saying that the Rangeley area is one of the most popular for all hunting seasons.

Saddleback

We loved staying at this cabin! It was a quick drive to saddleback, our kids loved playing in the snow in the yard and we loved saying cozy and warm in front of the fireplace.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed a very nice, secluded couple of days in the woods. Cabin is conveniently located to downtown Rangeley. Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing. The host Lisa is incredibly responsive ( not that we needed anything but she was genuinely interested in our stay ). Everything you need is there. We loved the home feeling , relative distance from other homes. Trails , saddleback mtg amenities next door. IGA down the street. Homeowners clearly committed to making this a premier property as they finish the final details. We will be back.Pet friendly is everything to us. Comfy house - wonderful snowmobiling trip

We stayed for a week and loved it! It is conveniently located near town, but is in a quiet area surrounded by nature. We snowmobiled directly from the house to the trails (a very short ride from the house to get to them). The house is clean and comfortable. Lisa was extremely responsive to any questions and was a great host. Highly recommend!

Cozy cabin for ski break!

This cabin was super cute and cozy. Just as advertised! Beds were super comfy, nice kitchen, comfy living room. Only 12 minutes from saddleback, you can even see parts of the mountain from the cabin! Overall a super sweet place for a quick get away!

Winter wonderland

Great stay in Rangeley. After a sad snow year in Boston, the downhill and XC skiing so close by was excellent. The house was very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. I hope we’ll be back next year!

Great Getaway

My wife, little pup, and myself enjoyed our weekend getaway. This cabin was the perfect location to enjoy peace and tranquility with the convenience of being minutes from town. No detail was forgotten and the True family have a wonderful, inviting place. Enjoy your stay at this lovely camp.

Cozy Cabin - Perfect Access for Skiing

Cozy cabin with a beautiful view of the Maine woods. Very easy access to Saddleback for skiing. Hosts were very responsive when had questions. Loved the reclining sofas near wood fireplace. My friend and I arrived first and loved the ambience as did the couple who joined us. Highly recommend.

Beautiful camp!

The camp is amazing. Beautifully designed, impeccably clean, cozy, with everything you need. The beds are extremely comfortable, an important detail. It is 10 min from Saddleback mountain, which is why my husband and I went to Rangeley. Matt and Lisa are excellent communicators. I highly recommend this camp, we hope to go back.

Great place!

We loved our stay! this was our first time in Rangeley and the location was perfect. We were a short drive into town, to Saddleback mountain, and to the lake. The house was beautiful with all of the wood work! While there wasn't very much landscape outside, we didn't mind at all as we enjoyed being in the woods and having a fire! Love that our doggy was welcome as well :) We hope to return!

Beautiful winter base camp

We stayed at this lovely cabin for our first trip to Rangeley. We came to ski and be in winter, and it was perfect. The cabin is a short drive to Saddleback, Rangeley Lakes Trail Center and town. The cabin was beautiful, warm, with thoughtful details throughout. It was so quiet! The wooded lot added to the calm. The hosts were very easy to communicate with about questions that came up. We found a public access trail nearby for snowshoeing with our dog and xc skiing! We will be back!

Awesome place to stay!!

We rented this house to go skiing at Saddleback. 5 minutes from the mountain! Beautiful area. Nice wooded lot with lots of privacy. The house was gorgeous. It’s not just a house , it’s a home. Only 8 years old. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Loved the powered leather recliners and wood stove. The heating system worked great as well. The surround sound tv made us want to make popcorn! Cathedral ceiling with a nice view of the woods. The beds were very comfortable. Spacious kitchen with everything you need. Nice shower in the master bedroom. Very cool stairs with a balcony. This is an excellent value for the money. We would absolutely stay here again. The owner, Lisa was great to work with. There was nothing that we were not happy with. You won’t be sorry you rented this place.

This cozy cabin was the perfect place for my family of 4 to stay while skiing at Saddleback. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house very comfortable for a weekend stay. The owners were quick to assist during a check-in issue and allowed us a later check out, which was greatly appreciated.

The perfect cozy cabin in the woods!

Spruce Knuckles is the perfect, cozy cabin in the woods! It was perfect for a weekend getaway for 2 couples. So convenient to downtown and Saddleback. It would be even more magical in the snow. Lisa was super responsive and accommodating to a couple of questions and requests. Everything you need in hosts! Thank you, Lisa and Matt for a great weekend.

Spring skiing weekend!

It was great settling in each afternoon after skiing! A short drive to the Saddleback access road, this charming cabin was clean and welcoming. The wood stove was a bonus and really added to the ambiance, along with the location in the woods.

Why they chose this property

We built this cabin ourselves and tried to make it as comfortable as possible for whether we were there alone or with guests. The downstairs has a nice kitchen with a gas stove, an adorable spare bedroom and a full bath, a living room with the most comfortable leather double recliners, a wood stove, and a large screen tv with surround sound. But the upstairs is the best - it has a wonderful large private master bed and bath and looks out to the beauty of the area and a peek of Saddleback Mountain when the leaves are gone! It's in a great location that has privacy from surrounding neighbors, and a large yard for parking and trailers with your toys. Plenty of room to spread out in, but great common areas to gather in, too.

What makes this property unique

You can snowmobile right from the cabin to all trails, and for skiers Saddleback Mountain is minutes away. Rangeley Lake and Saddleback Lake are minutes away for fishing and all types of water recreation, and it goes without saying that the Rangeley area is one of the most popular for all hunting seasons.
