Glamorous mid-century charm in this newly renovated 4-bedroom house on a semi-private lake. Whether you’re looking to unplug or continue your routine in a relaxing, cozy ambience, this spacious home is equipped with everything you need to create lasting memories with family and friends.

All furniture and decor are brand new and all major appliances are new within 2 years. Gig-speed internet and a mesh WiFi-system offers fast, reliable internet throughout the entire house and outdoor porch/patios.

Taking a tour around the main floor of this split-level house, you’ll be greeted by an open floor plan that flows freely room-to-room and from inside to out. Expansive windows frame views of the lake and stunning sunsets throughout the entire home. The house is situated on over an acre of land peppered with ancient trees, giving way to a massive yard to enjoy next to the lake.

The main living room sets the scene for gatherings with loved ones next to a crackling fire. Another extra large family room offers a relaxing space to lounge or watch TV with two sectional sofas that convert into full size beds and two giant ottomans that transform into twin beds. This room is located off the kitchen and can be closed off to create a 5th bedroom if needed.

Get toasty around the double-sided fireplace that heats the entire lower level on cold winter nights, roast s’mores around the outdoor firepit next to the lake, or soak in breathtaking sunsets with loved ones on the 22’x12’ screened in porch, which features a 2nd full-size refrigerator for your surplus of food and drinks.

You’ll also discover classic board games and puzzles, a new 65” Samsung Smart TV, updated kitchen appliances / cooking utensils, outdoor yard games, 4 kayaks / 2 SUPs, and much more! This house is a peaceful oasis to forget about all your worries for a while.

Four spacious bedrooms on the upper floor welcome everyone in your group to relax in their own space. One king bed in the primary bedroom with lake views and a walk-in closet, one large queen bedroom with lake views and desk, one queen bedroom with a decorative climbing wall, and one cozy double bed room with lake views and an office/workstation.

This lake house was the perfect spot for a snowy women's getaway weekend. It is spacious and clean with lovely views over a large yard to the lake. Between desks, a huge work table, the large dining table and a generous island in the kitchen, we had plenty of space for doing arts and crafts. The kitchen is nicely provisioned and labeled to facilitate finding things. The owners responded promptly to all questions. We'd love to return in warmer weather.

We had an initial bump in our stay and the owner immediately addressed the situation and made things right. He and his cleaning staff (call out to Grace) cared and followed up professionally and quickly. The house was perfect for multiple family members coming in from throughout the country for a funeral. We all had our own rooms, and there was space for family to gather but also have their privacy. We would stay here again if needed.

We enjoyed our week here with our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. The lake is very quiet and the lot itself is pretty well isolated from the neighbors. All around a very peaceful setting and perfect for the kids in our group (ages 2-6). The house itself was a good setup and came with the majority of the supplies and amenities we needed. Anything else was easily purchased locally in Vicksburg or Portage. We’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house for a lake getaway. Plenty of space for adults and kids to hang out together or have separate areas to relax. The porch and backyard were great, lots of shade and area to play games or hang out.The lake was wonderful, the kids were able to swim off the dock and shore with no issues. We loved the kayaks and peddle boat and everyone had fun taking them out on the lake.

Fantastic holiday rental for Families

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lake House. The house is spacious and well equipped, the beds are very comfy. The best however is the location: Very quiet, nice view of the easy accessible lake.The only thing we missed were some deckchairs or sunbeds for the terrace.Communication with the host was easy, he answered to our mails within hours.For our next stay in this area, we’ll definitely look into booking this house again.

This is an older house but very new and clean inside. Lots of room with 2 living rooms and 2 eating areas. The back yard is huge. We enjoyed the fire pit. Beautiful lake view.

Awesome house for a family getaway

House is great and perfect for a large family getaway. Location on a lake makes for a picturesque view from the living room, kitchen, and backyard. Only downside we had was that there was no extra toilet paper and we ran out quickly and had to go into town to buy toilet paper. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The 9 people in our group ranged in age from 83 to 25. We all had a wonderful time enjoying the kayaks, paddle board and pedal boat!! We also appreciated the spacious house, the screened porch and the many options for gathering together or having some alone time!

Exactly how described, we had a fabulous time!

The property held our 10 person family (ages ranging from 1 yr to 50’s) perfectly! Everyone had their space and it has great families areas also for games and hanging out! The lake is extremely quiet and the shallow entrance was great for our little ones! All the water toys were fabulous and enjoyed!! The property was within 10 minutes of a grocery store, shopping and a bakery for all the things you need! We recommend this property for your low key family time! Thank you to the owners! We had 1 hiccup when we first arrived and it was handled quickly and efficiently!

Great family vacation in Michigan.

The house was very spacious. We had 7 adults and 2 under 2 yrs old. Everyone enjoyed fishing from the pontoon and riding kayaks. The multiple fridges were great as we needed to have lots of cold drinks with extreme heatwave. TV room was great and we spent many nights watching shows. Fishermen in group caught bluegill, bass, perch, sunfish on the lake. Lots of keepers and many more smaller fish which made for a fun time. The large table in dining room was used for many game sessions. The island in kitchen was large and we hung out there alot. Kitchen galley was smallish, but had everything we needed. There are tons of restaraunts in area, Jaspare's pizza in vicksburg had "large" pizzas, we had tons of food for couple days. Air Zoo/museum was surprisingly excellent, tons of planes and lots of indoor activities for kids. Airway fun center in portage was another haven from outdoor heat. Bowling and large arcade/ carnival games was fun for everyone. As you could tell the weather was extremely/unexpectedly hot. Most bedrooms had an air conditioner and kept up with heat. One of the bedrooms had a jacknjill door connecting the two rooms, but the ac unit could not keep it cool even for sleeping (room was not really usable) but we moved the mattress in large bedroom and made it work. The other bedrooms stayed cool enough when kept closed all day. Casinos nearby, nature trails, disc golf anything you wanted. Besides the heat our family thoroughly enjoyed the property and the local area.

We loved everything about our visit and plan to make this an annual adventure. Our group consisted of 8 college friends and this house was perfect for us. We spent most of our time in the screened in porch and on the lake. The Paddle King and other outdoor activities were a great way to spend time. We had the lake to ourselves for almost the entire trip. The house is big enough that you can find a quiet place if you want some time to yourself, but also has enough room for you to gather as a group wherever you want! It was clean and well organized. I really appreciated the labeling in the kitchen so we weren't constantly guessing about where to find things. The town of Vicksburg also had everything we needed, including a small grocery store and Hungry Howie's pizza (a feature in our college town). There's a giant Meijer just up the road and Kalamazoo was also an easy visit.

Quiet Peaceful Getaway

Excellent! We found this property last minute and the owner was quick to respond and the check in process was flawless. Home has plenty of room for a large family. Lake is just the right size for floating around as well as taking the paddle pontoon out for swimming and fishing - caught a nice size Bass. Take time to check out the fantastic channel/creek for kayaking, goes on for miles. Weather was amazing so didn’t spend much time indoors but the screen porch is a nice addition during the evenings to get away from pesky bugs. If you’re looking for R&R away from big speedboat lakes - this is it!

Relaxing weekend!

I grew up in portage and my parents and sister are still in the area. Usually I stay in Southhaven but I decided to give this little gem in Vicksburg a try which I am so glad I did.
