Less than 1/4 mile (6 blocks) from Main St in quiet neighborhood. Private entrance with covered porch for morning coffee or afternoon "wine down." Separate fenced yard for the fur baby or play ball on the main lawn. Open concept living/dining with a fully stocked kitchenette. 2 relaxing recliners. Separate dining table with 2 chairs. Roku streaming TV with tons of channels. Comfy queen bed. Private bath has huge 3x5 shower with rainhead and plenty of extra towels tucked away in the vanity. And their is a tankless water heater so you never run out of hot water:) Meet the owners out on the shared deck and make new friends... or enjoy your privacy... whatever you decide you will love this little charmer.

Great location & host!

Very close to town adorable and great for two people decorated really pretty and warm and cozy host was very responsive to any questions and concerns and went out of her way to make us happy. Would definitely stay there again.

Quaint Casita

This is the perfect place for a couple and a couple of dogs. 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to downtown Fredericksburg. Parking, private walk, fenced yard for the dogs with poo station. We traveled with our Boston Terriers. There's plenty of room for setting up a kennel. Smart floorplan. We will return!

Great location just a short drive from Main Street. Property was very clean and dog friendly. Host was very accommodating. Great spot for a weekend trip to Fredericksburg.

This is our new go-to!

This is a darling casita. Wonderful amenities and gorgeous yard. Tara was the perfect host. This was our first trip with our dog to Fburg and she made us feel so at home and welcome. We will most definitely use this location in the future.

WARNING - You may be spied on

All of the 5 star reviews are accurate with the exception of the unit being entered while we were not there by the male property owner. We setup a camera with audio to monitor our dog to make sure he behaved when we were out. We were startled when our phones went off with a person alert while we were at breakfast, only to see the male owner in the unit. The dog was not barking and there was no eminent danger so there was no reason for him to enter. All of our personal belongins were visible, as we had no reason to believe they should not be as we had all of the blinds closed. While I understand it is his property, according to Texas law and VRBO the entering of a rented unit is against the renters rights and is a violation of privacy. We reached out to VRBO and they said it was within our rights to leave this review and they are sending a warning to the owner. If the owner receives a second warning, they will no longer be able to rent through VRBO.

Lovely cottage

Cutest cottage ever!

Our stay was awesome, one of the nicest places we have stayed! Perfect location, quiet but super close to the main street! Tara and her husband, were warm and welcoming made us feel right at home! We brought our dog with us, he loved the backyard to run around in. Over all 11/10 recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in Fredricksburg!

Great Place

We had an awesome stay at Tara’s guest house! The place was spotless, well decorated, and had everything we needed and more for a wonderful long weekend in Fredericksburg. We especially liked the fenced in yard for our dog who traveled with us! We will be back!

Cozy Convenient

Lovely little cottage close to Main Street in Fredericksburg. Situated in a quiet neighborhood one couldn't ask for better accommodations nor a more friendly and knowledgeable host. I highly recommend this property and host.

Perfect Place

Tara’s casita was everything we wanted and more! It was super clean, with a comfortable bed and spacious shower. The perfect place for my husband, myself, and our pup! Not to mention, Tara was very personable and accommodating. We will be staying here again on our next trip to wine country!

This was our 3rd time at the casita. We absolutely love it every time. Everything is so easy and accommodating. Tara is always there to greet you and help with any questions you need.
