About the host
Hosted by Colin & Ania
We’re Colin & Ania — Seattle-based hosts who’ve always dreamed of creating a retreat where nature, comfort, and design all meet. After years of traveling and working in tech and healthcare, we found ourselves craving a space where people could truly unplug and reconnect. The Riverfront Chalet is our labor of love: a cozy cabin in the woods, styled with intention and cared for with heart. Hosting has become more than a side project — it’s a way for us to share something meaningful. We love hearing stories of guests making memories here — whether it’s a weekend getaway, a holiday tradition, or a long-overdue family reunion.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this quiet pocket of Leavenworth nestled between the river, the forest, and the mountains. Chiwawa River Pines offers that rare balance of seclusion and access — you’re minutes from Lake Wenatchee and just a short drive from the shops, restaurants, and Bavarian charm of Leavenworth. The sound of the river, the wide open sky, the wild turkeys passing through — it all feels a world away, yet still easy to reach from Seattle. There’s something deeply grounding about this stretch of the Wenatchee & Chiwawa Rivers, and we knew right away it was the right place to create something special.
What makes this property unique
The Riverfront Chalet sits on over half an acre of private waterfront with direct access to the Wenatchee and Chiwawa Rivers — a rare find in this area. Designed with comfort and connection in mind, the cabin features soaring windows, cozy fireside seating, a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, and custom touches throughout. Outside, guests can explore native landscaping, play yard games under string lights, or relax by the new propane fire pit while the river rushes by. Smart home tech ensures things are easy, while natural beauty steals the show. We like to think it’s equal parts adventure basecamp and soulful hideaway.
