Great place to stay in Isla. Right on the east side promenade, easy walk into town and to beautiful playa norte, but outside the busier tourist areas which we appreciated.

Depends on what you want

Please pay close attention to the note I've quoted below which is toward the bottom of the information given about the rental on VRBO. This property might be exactly what you want or it might not work for you at all. The downstairs unit has two bedrooms and two baths, a living room with a pull-out couch, dining area, and kitchen, which is no longer as well stocked as some reviews have indicated. The pool, which is smaller than the photo suggests, is right outside this unit. The stairways to the two suites on the second floor are both on the poolside and streetside, and they are outside this unit and totally separate from it. The third floor is up another set of stairs which are outside the units and also totally separate from the others. The pool is shared by all renters, regardless of whether they are part of the same group, and it is quite small. The view of the ocean from the property is beautiful, but it is not swimmable, nor is there a walkable beach. The whole property is much more like a motel than a house or hotel, even if all three floors are rented by one group. If you want a feel for life on Isla Mujeres rather a touristy situation, it's in a great location. It's also close to the ferry but pretty far from North Beach, though it is walkable. "NOTE: The property is a Boutique Hotel with 4 separate units. The pool patio, rooftop terrace & other patios are potentially SHARED unless the ENTIRE 6BR property (listing 1266750) is rented."

Excellent property, couldn’t be better!!!!

Central location, walking distance to Playa Norte, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. But best of all is 2 things: (1) owners are onsite and fix any issues within minutes; and (2) this is absolutely the most well-stocked VRBO property I have ever stayed at. Many VRBO properties require you to purchase your own base level supplies, such as trashbags, salt and pepper, olive oil for cooking, etc. however, this property comes fully stocked, with sandwich bags, salt and pepper and other base level spices, cooking supplies, pool towels, beach towels, shower towels, etc. this is without a doubt the best VRBO property I have ever stayed at.

Wonderful stay, perfect location

Can’t beat that view! We had such a great stay. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, communication was excellent and they were very accommodating. The location was central and close to lots of great restaurants, beach is a short walk away. The property was clean, cute and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again.
