We had an amazing stay at the lodge; we only wish we could have stayed longer. Katrina was kind and accommodating, she created an atmosphere where we could simply relax and enjoy our family. We can’t wait to book the lodge again during the summer when we can use all of the amenities that they offer.

The property is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay but didn’t have much time to relax and enjoy the property as we would have liked but it was a beautiful spot for a wedding!

Elopement

My partner and I had the experience of staying at the property to have our elopement and it was a beautiful experience. The property was clean and beautiful with a serene atmosphere and view. The host was readily available and made sure that our requests were addressed. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

I wish we stayed longer

When I say this was the best home to stay in for our occasion it was absolutely amazing! We originally booked for 8 people but only had maybe 5 people come but the property was perfect and sooooo peaceful. The amazing host checked in everyday to make sure we were good and didn’t need anything even when we had to leave a little early she was very understanding.

What a gorgeous property that makes you truly feel out on your own, but yet minutes away from town and everything you need! Katrina was amazing and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible property - 10 stars

I have been to a lot of places and stayed in alot of places and this one is absolutely- hands down the best I have ever experienced. From the property and home itself to the host - beautiful ranch - awesome home just as advertised and all of the extras that were included was just icing on the cake so to speak. Wonderful weekend we will definitely go back and are already planning on it!!!!

Awesome weekend get away!

What a great place to stay! We (grandparents, two sons, two grandkids, and our pup) loved the property, the pond and fishing, the kayaks, the decor, the master shower and the VERY comfortable beds. We appreciated the in-person visit and informative tour of the property and the attention to details such as the coffee bar, fruit, water, and shower products. We did not want to leave! Next time we will try to stay longer!

Awesome! Awesome!

This was just an amazing place! Super cute and cozy and very clean! It has everything you need! The setting is beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. You can sit on one of the porches with your morning coffee or your evening cocktail and just relax. Plus the owners are super friendly and very easy to contact. Highly recommend and hope to visit again!

Wonderful Dirt Road Property

Arriving at the property at almost dark, it was so nice that lights were on outside and inside. It was quiet and relaxing. The back porch overlooking the pond/lake was a big favorite. More chairs on the back porch would be a plus. The whole house is beautiful and the details were immaculate. Everyone in our family really enjoyed the stay.

New Years Vacation

The lodge exceeded our expectation, the amenities this property offers allowed our family to have an amazing experience and it provides fun for all ages including our dogs! Katrina and Billy are such amazing property managers that made us feel at home. Our favorite moments were our morning walks all around the fields with our dogs because it gave us an opportunity to disconnect and enjoy a beautiful peaceful sight. Memorable Family Holiday Vacation

This property is breathtaking!!! Our family thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The professional firing range was where our family enjoyed a majority of our time! The hosting of the property was hands down the most gracious hosting we have ever experienced through a vacation rental! We were planning our second trip back to the property before we were done with our first trip! The horses, the lake, the fire pit…. This was a quiet piece of paradise. This property is Highly recommended by our family!

Beautiful house & property - 5 +++++++ Stars

First of all the owners of this property are the best, they have went above and beyond to accommodate us and our family. This house is gorgeous and the property was so pretty with the fall leaves. This property and house was better than described in the listing. The kitchen is very well equipped. They had provided everything we could have possibly needed. Our son got married in the area and this house was our home away from home for the weekend. We highly recommend this property for a fabulous getaway. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!!!

Words cannot describe the beauty of Refuge Ranch both inside and out! The pictures do not do it justice. The hosts Katrina and Billy are just the nicest people and so accommodating. I cannot put into words how much they made sure that our family reunion / Dad (Papa)'s 80th Birthday celebration went smoothly. They did everything they could to make it special. The Refuge Ranch provided my family with beautiful views, sounds and memories that we will always cherish.
