This location is absolutely fantastic. Michele is a phenomenal and gracious host (she left us snacks to include the full kit for making s'mores!!!). The property has a plethora of amenities and is incredibly comfortable. We will be staying here again in the future when we are exploring that side of the peninsula again! Thank you so much Michele!
Great spot for our home base to enjoy Olympic park. Well stocked, peaceful and comfortable. Suited our needs while we were exploring this side of the park. Great hosts, responsive and communicative.
I loved the Hideway. Although most of my time was out seeing the sights, it was wonderful to come back to the little cabin in the evening. The deck was lovely. I would definitely stay there again.
This was a great place centrally located to all things Olympic National Park. The host, Michelle, was so friendly and hospitable. She gave us directions to a beautiful creek next to the property. Clean, comfy and close to so much ONP
This was the perfect base camp for our adventures. Everything we wanted to do was within and hour and a half drive. Fun during the day and relaxing evening on the porch. I’ll definitely stay here in the future for two person trips. This is an excellent location at the end of a dead end and close to town. Incredible views from the porch.
House was extremely clean and cozy! Love the secluded feel of the house. The view from the porch was amazing. Great location to many sites in and around Olympic NP. The full kitchen with pans and utensil stocked allowed us to cook in after being out all day on hikes! Michele was very easy to reach. Great house!
Michelle, the property owner is incredibly friendly, and communicative. The cabin was spotless, and beautiful. Such a great place to have a peaceful morning cup of coffee as you watch the sun rise over the hill just behind the cabin! Super easy to find, but very secluded at the same time. All information about what to expect, how to operate while you're there, and great ideas and directions of where to go and what to see, are all described in careful detail. I couldn't have asked for a better retreat for me to unwind the stresses of this past year. Thank you so so so much,
Michelle’s place is quite nice (medium to higher level finishes), very clean and feels and looks really new. She is so thoughtful and provides many basics like laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner, spices, oils and really nice kitchen equipment and pots/pans (which isn’t always the case with rentals…) and THREE ways to make coffee (I prefer a French press and there was one there!!) You are even greeted with a basket of snacks upon arrival - a very nice touch! She respects your privacy completely, but is very friendly and so helpful if you reach out to her. My impression is that she is a really great human being! Just a Note - the space is a little on the small side. The bedroom is quite small and it’s even a little bit hard to get around to the far side of the bed, but the bed is super comfortable, so it’s not such a big deal. The only TV is in the bedroom - not an issue for us as we were out and about from morning until later at night, but I thought I should mention it in case someone was wanting more space to hang out or the ability to watch TV in the other room. Another note is that the front porch is really beautiful to hang out on, to drink coffee in the morning, or if you are not out and about, I could see reading a book there. If the weather is good, this adds quite a bit of hanging out space in a beautiful environment.
Great place with everything you need, a great view, and peace & quiet. Host is great and easy to contact if you have any questions or needs. Would definitely stay again.
Cozy, well designed tiny home in a perfect spot for exploring Olympic National Park. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bed is comfy. We had everything we needed for a great trip.
Exactly as listed! Everything you need to enjoy your stay and so many extras thoughtfully provided. We enjoyed exploring the rainforest and coast and the having a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Highly recommend!
Visiting the state of WA for the first time and Michele was the perfect host and the house was the perfect place to stay. Everything we needed was there. We grilled steaks on the grill. And greatly appreciated the washer/dryer as it made packing for the trip much less. The bed was super comfy, the shower amazing. Not sure what else I can say other than if you are thinking about renting this DO IT! You won’t be sorry. Thank you Michelle!
This is the second time that we have stayed in this marvelous home. We will keep coming back because it is the perfect getaway. Michele is the perfect host with her attention to details that make our stay nothing short of spectacular. Few things in life are as luxurious as saying on that deck and looking out at the forest for hours. We were fortunate to have perfect weather.
We wanted to relax from all responsibilities and Michelle’s little hideaway was perfect for just that.
It had all amenities needed, was within a short jaunt to gather supplies or see sights.
It is beautiful and quiet. Loved our time together there.
Property is right in the middle of everything on the Olympic peninsula, yet peaceful and secluded. Michele was a great host, I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area.
The place is very nice and located in a quiet, beautiful, spot near Forks. It was perfect for us to go and explore the various national parks and shorelines nearby.
This was such a lovely home. Beautiful little touches and great attention to detail. We were provided with everything we needed as well as extras! Super clean inside and out! Will definitely recommend to friends!
This is the perfect base for visiting the National Park! The cabin was very well appointed and the indoor decor and amenities were well beyond our expectations! The location itself is perfect for a quiet and scenic get-away. The owner was very friendly and generous with snacks and helpful hints. We will certainly be returning here in the future!
The house is in a great location for exploring Olympic National Park - close enough to provide access to the beaches and trailheads, and just out of the way enough to provide a relaxing place to come back to and enjoy the view from the porch in the evening. Michele is friendly and accessible, and has thought of everything to make the stay more enjoyable, and the house itself is cozy and fully loaded. I loved my stay, thank you!
