The property was lovely and I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. It had every type of pot, pan, and dish we needed and having a variety of spices available was a nice bonus. It is a tiny home and the bedroom is a little small, but I liked having the larger bed so would deal with the tight quarters. The front room and kitchen are well set up and easy to work in. There is plenty of space for 2 people. Michelle was very responsive to questions and was very easy to work with. Thank you for a relaxing stay.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The stay was great and the VRBO contact/owner was very communicative before, during, and after our stay. All in all, it was a great booking, the cabin was well stocked (with thoughtful items), and we enjoyed the experience.
The only complaint I have is the VRBO deposit and deposit refund process which has nothing to do with the stay itself.
This location is absolutely fantastic. Michele is a phenomenal and gracious host (she left us snacks to include the full kit for making s'mores!!!). The property has a plethora of amenities and is incredibly comfortable. We will be staying here again in the future when we are exploring that side of the peninsula again! Thank you so much Michele!
Michele has done a wonderful job with this place. The home is so well stocked to the point that it felt like we were staying with a friend. A few things to note:- The kitchen is well stocked with spices, oils, tinfoil, ziplock bags, etc as well as any cooking equipment you could need. Because it is a tiny house, there isn't much space to store your own shelf-stable groceries.- The bed is very soft, which may be a blessing or a curse depending on your sleep preferences.- There are several other structures on the property, a nearby driveway, and multiple cameras up. It was very quiet and we weren't disturbed during our stay, but it didn't feel as private as we were hoping. - The walk to Calawah river is a must-do! It was better than the Hoh river, in our opinion.

Just to clarify there are bright security lights that come on when guests arrive at night as well as outside security cameras for guest safety. As far as privacy, the property is at the end of a private drive with no neighbors on one side. In addition, you were the only one on property, so very confused about the "lack of privacy comment", I reach out several times to my guests during their stay and would have loved for you to reach out to me with any concerns. Thanks for staying at my property.
Great place with everything you need, a great view, and peace & quiet. Host is great and easy to contact if you have any questions or needs. Would definitely stay again.
Property is right in the middle of everything on the Olympic peninsula, yet peaceful and secluded. Michele was a great host, I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area.
Great spot for our home base to enjoy Olympic park. Well stocked, peaceful and comfortable. Suited our needs while we were exploring this side of the park. Great hosts, responsive and communicative.
The place is very nice and located in a quiet, beautiful, spot near Forks. It was perfect for us to go and explore the various national parks and shorelines nearby.
Cozy, well designed tiny home in a perfect spot for exploring Olympic National Park. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bed is comfy. We had everything we needed for a great trip.
I loved the Hideway. Although most of my time was out seeing the sights, it was wonderful to come back to the little cabin in the evening. The deck was lovely. I would definitely stay there again.
Exactly as listed! Everything you need to enjoy your stay and so many extras thoughtfully provided. We enjoyed exploring the rainforest and coast and the having a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Highly recommend!
This was a great place centrally located to all things Olympic National Park. The host, Michelle, was so friendly and hospitable. She gave us directions to a beautiful creek next to the property. Clean, comfy and close to so much ONP
Great house, very clean, nicely set up, and new appliances with everything we needed (cooking, laundry, hanging on the porch). Easy to get to and visit all the Beaches nearby. Also nice quick little walks in the area to the river.
The house is in a great location for exploring Olympic National Park - close enough to provide access to the beaches and trailheads, and just out of the way enough to provide a relaxing place to come back to and enjoy the view from the porch in the evening. Michele is friendly and accessible, and has thought of everything to make the stay more enjoyable, and the house itself is cozy and fully loaded. I loved my stay, thank you!
I enjoyed my stay here—the property is peaceful and pretty. Michele has thought of all the details. The location was perfect for my needs. Close to the areas of Olympic National Park that I wanted to see the most, as well as a small town with a grocery store and gas station.
We wanted to relax from all responsibilities and Michelle’s little hideaway was perfect for just that.
It had all amenities needed, was within a short jaunt to gather supplies or see sights.
It is beautiful and quiet. Loved our time together there.
