Great family retreat

We (4 adults and 2 children under 10) spent 4 nights in this lovely village home. It is ideal for a family retreat, where you want to be calm and spend family time together. The house has everything needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. The living room is very spacious with large windows/glass doors giving way to a very large garden with grass and trees. Easy to park the car and there is a supermarket across the road. Highly recommended!

great for a short stay in Morvan

house is exactly as you see it advertised and very nice. huge garden and outdoor space. only caveat: it is on a very busy road. lovely walks and nice lake 10 kms away. don’t expect huge beaches but still very nice. we went to lac de Chaumecon and that was disappointing as it was completely green with algae so do inquire ahead. Vezelay absolutely worth a visit ! walking distance (everything within 5 minutes) from bakery, butcher and grocery store. contacts with landlord were very smooth before and during the stay. so overall very pleased we decided to book.

Le logement est idéalement situé et conforme à l'annonce. Les hôtes sont charmants, compréhensifs et de très bons conseils. Le logement dispose de tous les équipements indispensables et le jardin est très beau. Le Morvan est une région très agréable avec plein d'activités pour petits et grands. Mercipour votre acceuil.

Très décevant, plusieurs insuffisances

Certes, la maison et le jardin sont jolis, mais nous avons été fort déçus, en comparant le descriptif lacunaire et les avis élogieux avec notre expérience. Le ménage et l'état du linge de lit laissent beaucoup à désirer : sol pas aspiré, linge taché, chasse d'eau non tirée, miettes sur la table, toiles d'araignées partout. Canapé en sky en voie de décomposition, caché sous un tissu d'une propreté douteuse. Mauvaise literie, les lits d'une personne ne font que 70 ou 75 cm de large et l'une des chambres (prévue pour 2 personnes) ne fait que 3 m² (en sous pente), et est pourvue d'un vélux sans store (rideau très lâche inopérant) ! Grande baie vitrée de la cuisine orientée à l'est, sans aucun store ni rideaux : chaleur étouffante une grande partie de la journée. Par ailleurs, est-il légal de louer un logement non équipé d'un détecteur de fumée (seul le support est présent) ? Le prix de cette location est donc trop élevé par rapport aux prestations. Prévenons les futurs locataires : il n'y a pas de télévision.

Nous apportons le plus grand soin à préparer le gîte avant l'arrivée de nos hôtes et à les accueillir le mieux possible. Il a été aménagé récemment avec des équipements neufs, hormis le canapé que vous mentionnez et qui sera changé prochainement. Votre commentaire, plutôt négatif dans l'ensemble, reflète cependant mal les prestations offertes par le gîte et la richesse de son environnement. Il tranche avec les appréciations précédentes, globalement toujours très positives. A l'écoute de nos hôtes, nous restons disposés à améliorer ce qui peut l'être, dans un dialogue constructif et respectueux. Cordialement

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Der Check-In war dank der Schlüsselbox sehr einfach. Das Haus ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet. Man findet alles, was man für eine angenehme Urlaubszeit benötigt. Der große Garten hinter dem Haus bietet viel Platz für einen Aufenthalt im Freien. Die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber gaben uns zahlreiche Hinweise und Tipps für Ausflüge vor Ort und in der Region. Der Ort liegt für Ausflüge in die touristischen Highlights von Burgund (Axerre, Beaune, Vezelay, Chateauneuf) sehr günstig. La Roche hat den großen Vorteil, dass ein Fleischer, ein Bäcker und ein Lebensmittelladen im Ort sind. Besonders das tägliche frische Baguette vom Bäcker schmeckte köstlich und gab dem Urlaub das typische französische Flair. Wir haben den Urlaub in dem sehr schönen Haus sehr genossen. Vielen Dank an die freundlichen Gastgeber!

Mooi ruim huis

Het huis is erg ruim met een mooi uitzicht op een grote tuin. Aan de voorkant ligt het aan een redelijk drukke doorgangsweg. In het dorp la Roche en Brenil is niet veel te beleven.. In de buurt is een bakkertje en een kleine supermarkt. In de omgeving zijn prachtige uitstapjes te maken naar middeleeuwse stadjes en de Bourgogne. Het huis heeft twee badkamers, prettig als je met meer bent. Een van de badkamers is op de begane grond terwijl de slaapkamers zich op de 1e verdieping bevinden. De gastheer is erg correct en beschikbaar voor vragen mocht je die hebben. Het was al met al een aangenaam verblijf.
