Wonderful location with easy access to many shops and restaurants in the Plaza area or Santa Fe. It was a quick 5 - 10 minute walk to some of the town’s finest places. The casita, while small, was perfect for the two of us as we celebrated our 45th anniversary. Communication with owner before and checkout was flawless. Will look to come back again in the future. Great trip!
Lovely property close to Santa Fe Plaza. Loved the defor and selection of books. Perfect place to wind down after exploring all Santa Fe has to offer. Loved being able to walk to the plaza. Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
This property is so cute! You get a lot of space and the bed is very comfortable. The proximity to downtown is perfect, allowing us to leave our car and walk. We didn’t have to stress about parking downtown which was a plus. We will certainly be back.
New Mexican charm with all of the amenities we needed. We loved being able to walk to the Santa Fe plaza and its shops and restaurants. There were tons of hikes within just a few miles too.
I have stayed several places in Santa Fe and this one was my favorite!! Everything was wonderful and easy, it was my dream Barbie casita! I want my home bathroom to look the same! Super close to the plaza! I will definitely be back!!

We loved having you and are thrilled to know you loved our home away from home! 💛
The casita was tastefully decorated with local art/decor and we appreciated the quiet despite proximity to the downtown plaza. The interior space feels larger than the online photos. We missed having the Keurig regular (non flavored) coffee pods but that’s my only complaint. FYI the hot tub is communal (shared by other guests, which we weren’t aware of beforehand).

We are so happy you chose our casita! It’s our home away from home and we love the same things you appreciated about it.
We’ll be sure to stock non-flavored coffee pods! Also, our listing does indicate the hot tub is communal but, if you missed it, then others might, too. We’ll modify our headline by including it there to avoid confusion moving forward.
Thank you for being wonderful guests with constructive feedback! It means a lot.
Place was great, walking accessibility was exactly what we were looking for. The only reason why we are giving it 4 stars is because the hot tub was under construction while we were there and hot tub access was a big reason why we chose the property.
Great property and very close to downtown Santa Fe!

It was great having you as our guest! Thank you for choosing our casita and for your wonderful review! Please consider us the next time you plan to visit Santa Fe! We’d love to have you back!
My husband and I (both 74) enjoyed our stay at Diane‘s Casita immensely. The property was clean, in a great location-we felt very safe in the Neighborhood, well stocked with everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable, lots of hot water and good pressure in the shower. We enjoyed our morning coffee and our afternoon wine on the patio. There is no air conditioning, but we found it to be quite pleasant. We stayed there in May and the temperatures during the day were upper 70s lower 80s and at night 40s and 50s. We opened the windows at night and had the fans on and sleeping was quite comfortable. We enjoyed the great hot tub and the atmosphere with the landscaping and decorations was so southwestern! We definitely recommend this property and if we return to New Mexico we would stay there again. Thank you Diane for sharing your lovely home on VRBO!
I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this was one of the best stocked ones I have been to. They had everything! And the pots and pans were stainless, not old scratched up teflon. The bed and couch were comfortable and all the towels and linens were high quality. The whole place felt very clean. Very impressed!
Thank you! We are so glad you loved your stay at our casita! We would love for you to stay again whenever pleasure or business brings you back to beautiful Santa Fe!
Really appreciated the location and overall comfort of this casita. As a solo traveler safety is important and I felt safe. A lot in Samta Fe is walkable from this location. The decor is super cute also! Would book again.
The casita is the perfect place to stay in Santa Fe. It is so well cared for and has everything to make it a comfortable visit. The parking spot is such a good bonus and being able to walk to so many museums, restaurants, and the plaza makes it even better.
Loved our stay there! The home was perfect and had everything we needed! Perfect communication with property manager. Street is very narrow but manageable!
Thank you! We are so glad you loved your stay at our casita! We would love for you to stay again whenever pleasure or business brings you back to beautiful Santa Fe!
The casita is charming and well equipped. Owner has thought of all the details to make a stay here comfortable. Close to downtown and easy to walk to wonderful sights and restaurants.

About the host
Hosted by Diane Robertson
I'm a New York native living in Los Angeles. Santa Fe is one of my favorite cities. I love being a VRBO host and take pride in my casita. I want guests to feel at home and treat it like their home away from home whether staying for 2 nights or 2 weeks. One of my joys is reading notes that guests leave in the guest notebook that is kept in the living. If you book a stay, please don't forget to share thoughts about your visit before you check out.
Why they chose this property
I love that this is an historic neighborhood and it could not be more centrally located. It is quiet and charming and within walking distance of the Plaza (Lensic Performing Arts Center, Galleries, Museums, Restaurants, Shopping), the Railyard District (Galleries, Shopping, Violet Crown Movie Theatre, Farmer's Market, Artisan's Market, and more). Canyon Road is just a slightly longer walk for those who are up to it.
What makes this property unique
The private walled courtyard with string lighting and a painted mural of colorful flowers on the walls is a lovely place to have coffee in the morning or a meal in the afternoon or evening. The casita is nicely furnished and well maintained, demonstrating true pride of ownership.
