Island Winds West is a family-friendly beachfront resort that is within walking distance of fine-dining, shopping and concert/festival venues. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

Policies:
1. Check in is 4pm | Check out is 10am.
2. You will receive a parking registration email. You are encouraged to purchase your parking passes prior to arrival. PLEASE NOTE: Onsite parking is limited to 1 parking pass per condo (regardless of size) during Spring Break, mid May through mid August, Labor Day & Shrimp Fest in early October. Contact us for additional off-site parking options.
3. No Smoking in condo or on balcony.
4. Pets are NOT allowed.
5. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
6. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.

So clean, everyone was very helpful and kind. The view was amazing! The outdoor pools were very clean and inviting. I would love to see outdoor fire pits added and possibly extend the outdoor pool time til midnight at least. The Hangout was a few blocks away tho (not Nextdoor) still within walking distance but advertisements say it’s next door. Good location and would definitely stay again.

The condo was great for our group of five. Very nicely decorated and clean as well. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Only thing we didn’t care for was both bathrooms were off bedrooms. No access to a bathroom unless going through a bedroom. Not a deal breaker, just a bit of an annoyance.

A little chilly the first week in March, but not bad. We got to watch a storm come through. That was kind of cool. The view from our balcony was awesome, and the beach was great for walking. Proximity to restaurants was great too.

Amazing location & great family atmosphere

Obviously located directly on the beach however even better as it was an extremely minimal walking distance to the beach from the condo. It was so convenient while carrying all of our beach necessities as well as to and/from the pool. It was a great family atmosphere for children. We enjoyed interacting with other families and children.

I would definitely recommend staying here 10/10. View is amazing from the living room area and master bedroom. Very spacious rooms. Master shower is amazing. Beds are comfortable. It has recently been updated. Never heard anyone above us or beside us which is a plus for me. Location is a 10/10. Walking distance for shopping and dining. You are literally steps away from the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Clean condo in great location!

The condo was very clean and in a great location. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. We have 3 children so we wanted to stay right on the beach. It is steps to the beach which made it easy. We walked to the Hangout, Bahama Bobs, souvenir shop, and for ice cream on different nights. We will be back!

Great Unit for the Price

This was a clean, cute, and comfortable unit. It was just my son and I, but it could easily house the other two members of our family. I will definitely keep this unit in mind for our next visit to Gulf Shores.
