Amazing place. My family and I stayed the weekend after attending my sons football game at the college (Casleton State). Super clean, cozy and perfect spot to to enjoy what Vermont is all about. Definitely recommend this cottage over any hotel. Love all the ma & pa shops and small local businesses. Nice to get away from all the commercial businesses.

This is a clean, comfortable stay with direct proximity to SLATE VALLE TRAILS. If you are looking for a great mountain biking or hiking trip, this is it! Easy access to the world class trails of southern Vermont, and come home to a hot tub and comfy beds. Perfection!

Nate is just a great VRBO Host! He keeps this unit very clean and it's always ready when we arrive. He is a great communicator and is very responsive whenever we have to send him a message.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There are some very good restaurants nearby and it is close to the Castleton campus. We also enjoyed some snowshoeing and mountain biking at Slate Valley Trails.

Great cottage for a ski vacation

The cottage had everything we needed to make our vacation perfect. It was well located to Ski Killington and Stratton. The host live right next door and was very responsive for all our needs to make the stay as pleasant as possible. We would definitely rent again.

Cozy house perfect for family

My in-laws were in town for a week and this was the perfect place for them. Easily accessible entrance and bathroom. The house is clean and very comfortable. They had a great time. Thank you!

This property was less than a few miles from our friend. The home was comfortable, had everything that you need for a trip and worked out perfectly. Really nicely decorated/renovated.

Comfortable cottage perfect for our needs

The location was perfect for us, close to family. The cottage is beautifully renovated and was very ready for us to move in for an extended stay. We hated leaving that shower! There's plenty to do within a short distance ... so many little businesses and beautiful places to explore! Very quiet, we slept very well in our comfortable bed! I took many morning strolls, such a pretty little area!

A very cute, small ranch home located across from the East Poultney Village Green! Spent 5 nights in October 2025. The Host, Nate, was great to deal with, was easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was seamless! Very clean, well-stocked, large bathroom with a large walk-in tiled shower! A great location for us to visit family and friends. Very, very quiet at night, which was wonderful! A very cozy place to stay! Thanks, Nate!

Graduation weekend!

This is a sweet and comfortable vintage little home. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and the washer, dryer and iron was a huge plus as well. The location is excellent, and the neighborhood has a few intriguing looking museums. Nate is a kind and understanding host, and was very tolerant of our surprise guests who showed up for the graduation. Thank you Nate!
