About the host
Hosted by Charlie Recknagel

I am from California and spent a lot of my life in Hawaii, where I met my wife Susan. Between her large Italian family, and my time In Hawaii experiencing the Aloha spirit, we have always wanted to have a property to host others. We hope you feel at home on our land.
Why they chose this property
We love that Wells feels both remote, yet close to a lot of our favorite places in the area (30-45 minutes from Manchester, Killington, Lake George and Middlebury). We buy our food from local farms or grow our own. We are 2 miles down a dirt road. It is peaceful, quiet and beautiful.
What makes this property unique
Our property has a large swimming and fishing pond. We love enjoying coffee on our dock listening to the birds and the frogs. Outside our door is a class 4 road great for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. Our property is 70 acres and you are welcome to explore.
