Perfect cozy winter retreat!

Who knew staying in a centuries old, beautifully renovated chateau could be so wonderful! This place was so delightful from the minute you walk up the gracefully worn granite staircase into the ornate rooms of another era into the courtyard garden and step into your private suite. Appointed with wonderful linens and all the modern conveniences to make your stay special and relaxing.Will absolutely return!

quiet apartment near the center of town

We had a wonderful ten-day stay here. We flew into Geneva and took the train to Evian, then walked to the apartment from there. Easy. The ferry dock is close by, as are many restaurants, a grocery store, etc. The lakefront is beautiful. So is the town. The French and Swiss Alps are not far, and the hiking there is spectacular.

Que dire de cette propriété, sinon que c'est un véritable palace !situé dans le Château Fonbonne, la plus vieille résidence bourgeoise d’Évian, le chemin qui mène au logement est une expérience en soi. Boiseries de plusieurs siècles, sculptures et un jardin à tout casser...En ce qui concerne le logement en soi, la grandeur m’a étonnée. Plafonds de 3 mètres, grand salon et cuisine, chambre à coucher plus que spacieuse et salle de bain de top niveau.Mais le plus gros clou de ce logement d’exception est sans contredit le jardin. Intime et verdoyant, il est un véritable oasis en plein cœur de la ville. On se croirait ailleurs.Vous êtes à 50 m des rives du lac et de la gare maritime.Sérieusement, si vous venez à Évian et passez par dessus ce logement, ce serait bien dommage. Et croyez-moi, c’est très rare que je fasse une critique aussi dithyrambique.Bon séjour et mille mercis à nos hôtes qui répondent rapidement à toute question.
