Damage deposit refund

Had no issues with host or house. However, at booking on Dec 30, VRBO charged my credit card with a damage deposit for a Feb 29 booking. Checked out Mar 9. Left house in excellent condition and yet no deposit was issued. Now Mar 22. Why on refund ????
