Welcome to our warm cottage, ideal for getting together with family or friends! Designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 people (and up to 10-11 depending on your desires 😉), it is the perfect starting point for a friendly and rejuvenating holiday.
📍 Located in ❤️ the Hérault department, you enjoy a privileged location:
• A stone's throw from the magnificent Salagou lake, and the Cirque de Mourèze,
• Close to St- Guilhem- du - desert, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France
🌊 Need some sea air? The beaches of the Mediterranean are only 40 minutes away!
🚴‍♂️ Sports and nature lovers, you will be delighted:
Mountain biking, hiking, water sports on the lake, swimming in the sea... not to mention stargazing in Aniane for magical ✨ evenings
🌄 For explorers, set off to discover:

📩 Do not hesitate to contact us for more information or to book your stay! Located in the heart of the Hérault valley (34), the Gîte du Mas de Gaussel, in Cabrières, opened its doors in April 2022. Completely renovated, with 5 individual bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub, a shower room on the ground floor, two toilets, a large convivial living room open to the fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, bar, outdoor terrace, organic garden overlooking a chicken coop and a natural swimming pool and relaxation area, this former priory will welcome you to discover the region. You can visit the village of Mourèze with its Dolomitic cirque, the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, the only village to host a sturgeon fish farm, unique in the world, the only one to practice caesarean section in an "eco-friendly" spirit and respect for the animal, the Etang de Thau, Sète, Salagou lake and many other sites in France within a close radius. The cottage also offers guided hikes, discovery of the region's plants, medicinal and edible plants as well as cooking workshops after picking.
