Historic Litchfield Hills Saltbox on Large Estate!

On the ground floor you will enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room with game space, a cozy tv room, a full bathroom, working fireplaces, and a large back patio.

The second floor boasts a beautiful open floor plan, with a king-sized bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other. The lower level is equipped with a Triton gym machine, free weights and other workout equipment as well as a washer/dryer and a second full bath.

High-end finishes throughout the house, beautiful hardwood floors, exposed beams and comfortable seating make this a very special space!

Guests have full access to the entire 170+ acre property which features a covered bridge, beautifully manicured landscape and breathtaking views. In the warmer months guests can enjoy swimming and kayaking in our private pond.

Patio is equipped with dining table and seating for 4, umbrella, as well as a propane grill with all the tools you need to BBQ!

Fantastic property! Can't wait to go back.

The house and the property are so impressive. The saltbox is unique, beautifully appointed and sparkling clean. It is like stepping back in time with modern amenities. It was the perfect spot for our Thanksgiving holiday. We were even treated with the first snow of the season which added to the magical feel of the experience. The property is beautiful! We can't wait to go back and visit in the summer and swim in the pond!! Communication and check-in/out was great. Don't hesitate on this one!

Slice of Heaven

We had an amazing anniversary getaway! The house was immaculate and just as shown. The pictures of the grounds and property do not do it justice - it’s like a slice of heaven. Being able to walk and enjoy the grounds made this such an incredible experience. Though not typically hikers, we actually decided to wake up early to explore and enjoy all the amazing sites on the property. It’s truly like your own private resort - complete with paved pathways, a covered bridge, waterfall, a pond with kayaks, hammocks set in trees, an amazing private gazebo with table and chairs overlooking the Litchfield hills and the grounds. It was just incredible! We chose Litchfield to visit a few vineyards but actually decided to pass on them on our second day so that we could go back and enjoy a bottle of wine and take in the peaceful sites from the private gazebo. So peaceful and perfect to recharge and relax. Can only imagine how beautiful it would be in winter too. Property management was very helpful and gracious from beginning to end. Would HIGHLY recommend and look forward to returning!

Awesome!

We were in town for a parents’ weekend and could not have enjoyed it more. The home is comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. Hayden and the caretakers were attentive and responsive. Perhaps most impressive was the generous access to the majestic grounds. Acres and acres of beautifully architected grounds. From the home you can hike to the top of a hill that offers panoramic views of the area. Could be great for a wedding. I agree with the privacy comments made by others but this home is perfect for a small family like ours.
