Our home, Ocean Mist offers everything you’ll need to make great memories with your friends and family. Every bedroom has its own Smart TV as well as a private bath. Enjoy a large private pool, the hot tub, grilling out, volleyball or badminton, ping pong, pool table, and best of all - hanging out at the beach. Beach access is one street over. Equipped with an elevator at the rear entrance of the home that only requires ascending 3-4 stairs on the deck. Come and relax at this beautiful home!
PLEASE NOTE OUR SPACE IS NOT CONDUCIVE FOR PARTIES. NO SMOKING AND NO PETS ARE ALLOWED. Come in and head upstairs to the top floor where you will find a spacious open area for eating, playing pool, sitting and reading a book or relax on the couch and watch TV. The middle floor has 4 bedrooms all with private baths. Need a spot to relax? Sit in the sitting area and do some work or watch some TV. The bottom floor has three more bedrooms with private baths. In the sitting area there is foosball to keep families entertained. On each level out the back of the house, there is ample deck space to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Guests will have access to 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, all deck spaces, kitchen and living spaces as well as the pool and hot tub. We are happy to help with any problems during your stay. You will find our welcome guide upon arrival with suggestions of restaurants, house rules, and check out instructions. Sandbridge is nestled in the southern part of Virginia Beach, the best of both worlds meet: the sparkling Atlantic Ocean and the broad expanse of Back Bay. Head a little farther south and you will find Little Island Park or head north a little and you will be at the beginning of Sandbridge. A lovely hidden gem of homes just steps from the ocean and Back Bay. We have a spacious circle drive for ease of entering and exiting Ocean Mist. Bring your bikes and you can ride on down to the market to grab some quick items or jump in the car and you'll be there and back in a jiffy! Please note this is a non smoking and animal free house! Please do not have parties. We are set up for families and friends to enjoy their stay. If we find glitter, confetti, rose petals, etc or our checkout list not completed and have extra housekeeping, there will be a $300 additional charge. Housekeeping has a quick turnaround time and we need to allow them to make sure the house is ready for the next guests. We only allow 7 cars to be parked at the home. You must be parked in the driveway, not on our grass. Please note: our 5 person hot tub is cleaned between each guest, if we have to make an emergency call or if the pool company reports that foreign substances (ie bubbles etc) have been put into the pool or hot tub or if it is overloaded with people and our heater burns out due to lack of water, we will have to charge for that service call or replacement value. We hope everyone has a wonderful stay. We do have a Ring camera that records motion and sound, it is monitored periodically during stays.
House layout: Top floor features the kitchen, dining area, living/sitting areas, and pool table. The couch on the top floor is a pull out sofa (sleeps 2). The middle floor has a queen room (sleeps 2), twin over full bunk (sleeps 3), king room (sleeps 2) and another king room (sleeps 2) each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a sitting area on this floor as well. The bottom floor has a king room (sleeps 2), a twin over twin room with a pull out twin (sleeps 3), and a twin over full bunk room (sleeps 3). There is a pull out sofa bed in the common area as well (sleeps 2).
Check in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00. (We may be able to accomodate an early check in (Sept-April, but there will be an additional $25 per hour charge for that).

Rooms
Please strip the beds and place all linens and towels that were used on the bathroom floor. Please leave the comforters/duvets on the beds, do not remove the duvet cover.
Please remove all trash/recycling from the house and place it in the trash cans.
Kitchen
Please make sure all food is removed from the refrigerator.
If you used dishes and used the dishwasher, please start the load prior to you leaving.
Wipe down counters and sink.
Do not leave food in the garbage disposal. Please turn on while running water.
We will be taking inventory of the kitchen items at the end of your stay, if something breaks, please let us know. We know accidents happen, we need to replace the items before the next guests arrive.
Outside
Please ensure the hot tub is covered.
If the grill was used, please make sure the gas is turned off.
If you moved any of the pool furniture or deck furniture, please put it back where it was when you arrived.
Please note: There is a $500 damage deposit that you agree to in our rental agreement. It is only a hold on your card. It starts the day of check in and is released 7 days after your check out. It is only taken if we have communicated with you that we will be holding any of that damage deposit. Otherwise, the hold will release and you won't see any transaction of that hold on your credit card statement.
