Property amenities abound, including a newly-renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, and steam room. From beach attire and supplies to water toys and keepsakes, you’ll find it all in the lobby gift shop. Our exercise center has everything needed to maintain your fitness regimen, and you’ll love the complimentary DVD rentals. Seasonal amenities include beach chair/umbrella rentals (additional fee), and an outdoor tiki bar. SunDestin Beach Resort boasts 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, making it ideal to host large personal or professional functions. Should any questions arise during your stay, our cordial and knowledgeable Scenic Stays team will be available via our 24-hour on-site front desk.



SunDestin Unit 0704 is a cozy one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to six. With an abundance of cupboard and counter space, there’s plenty of room in this fully-appointed kitchen to prepare and serve tasty treats for the beach.  You’ll never tire of the gorgeous gulf view, clearly visible through the open-concept space in the living/dining area. Enjoy family time at the kitchen island with seating for four. Lounge in the living room with the queen-sized sleeper sofa or the master suite with king-sized bed, both rooms equipped with flat-screen televisions. Twin bunks are also nestled in the hall for added convenience, and you’ll find plenty of seating on the private balcony directly overlooking the beach.



You won’t have to travel far off property to enjoy water sports and outdoor pursuits, which are clearly abundant in Destin, FL. Hop over to the Destin Harborwalk, a five-minute drive, and rent a pontoon boat, kayaks, or paddle boards. Spend the day snorkeling or enjoy a dolphin cruise at sunset. There’s never a shortage of ways to enjoy our little piece of paradise!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Overall, great location. You are right by a lot of attractions within minutes. The hotel its self is very clean & the staff were great. Only downfall is having to rent a beach umbrella and chairs. As in the past the hotels have provided the beach chairs and umbrella with the stay. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with kids as it has an outside and inside pool for days when it’s to warm out for the kiddos.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay here! Check in was super easy and even in the wee hours of the morning! Easy access to the beach and our daughters loved swimming in both pools- especially the indoor heated one! It got a little crowded as it was windy outdoors and a little chilly but not too bad! The condo was very clean and we enjoyed the great view and comfy king sized bed! Everything was wonderful! Thank you!

Great location!

Plenty of space for a family of four and directly on the beach. Beautiful views from the balcony. Bedroom had a very comfortable king bed but it made the room feel very small. Only a few drawers for clothes if you like to unpack. The only real complaint was the condenser unit for the AC is practically in the master bedroom and was very loud when it would come on. Needless to say, we were woken up several times throughout the night when the AC would kick on. Light sleepers may have trouble with this. Overall, a great place to spend a beach vacation! The on-site restaurant tiki bar and store were very convenient.

Nicely remodeled.The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The dishwasher was out of ordered which made us not want to eat much at the condo. The rug and floors were very dirty. The white couch was dirty and so uncomfortable to sit on. The last 2 days we heard a loud scratching noise in the floor above us over the bedroom door!

Perfect location/view but Imperfect inside

The bad: The fit and finish was very poor like chipped paint on bunk bed, door stopper was broke, pull out couch was broke, etc. The showers ceiling and vents had black mold. It looks like they tried to just cover it up with plaster/paint. The splash pad was not working. No umbrellas allowed on the beach and if you want front row beach access you need to rent chairs, which is ridiculously expensive. The good: the view was great, the guest service was helpful and assisted us with any issues with our room. The store was great. The beach access was perfect with foot/ shower rinsing stations after you leave the beach. Inground pool was great feature. They had a store with a lot of stuff you might of forgot to pack, souvenirs, and and beach equipment. Great location to get to restaurant around the areas. Also, gave great discounts on attractions around the area.

The location and accesability was good. However, the master bed room is very small for a King size bed. Only 1 closet and 3 drawers in the bedroom. No nightstands only a little look next to the bed. Half bath is between the master bedroom and full bath. The doors hit each other when you open them. Dishwasher and a burner on the stove were out of order. Also, there is only a washer and dryer per floor and none in the room. Washer did not work on our floor.

Mold in unit. Left a day early due to sickness caused by mold. Sofa bed mattress sheets comforter alll......thin thin pictures for proof. No washer dryer thats fine but you have to wash your own towels * note we paid cleaning fee with booking* for 2.50 and dry for 2.50, coin machine inoperable and staff not allowed to give them out......bummmer x5 and a menstrual teen. Plus clean up basically before we left ie trash, towels, linen, dishes , thats no vacation all those chores....Elevator in lobby to left is a death trap. OLD appliances just not really worth bragging about in general. oh the view was amazing. The Staff was friendly but not very helpful. The Pelican Restaurant on site was delightful and delish. I only tell the truth for other families like ours who would be disappointed upon arrival.

We are incredibly sorry to hear about your experience with this property and take all concerns into consideration! Mold is one that we do take very serious. This property would have been removed of the issue if notified during the stay. Following the stay we have ensured it is properly handled. While we do not stocl comforters, we do provided a duvet style bedding. Most of our properties at Sundestin do not have a washer and dryer in the unit. There is one on every floor except the first. We do have elevators routinely inspected and any issues are always taken into account to fix. Each unit is indicidually stocked by the owner, so we can always assess the appliances if needed. We are so glad you enjoyed the view, restaurant and friendly staff who are always ready to ensure you enjoy a wonderful stay!

This was the perfect place to stay for us! It’s on the beach, restaurant and gift shop on the premises and crab island is just a short Uber ride down the street. We had a great time!

Older complex. The unit was very small with little room to maneuver. The AC located in the bedroom was loud when it went on providing poor sleep. I moved to the couch. Wife slept on a bunk bed. The common areas were great, with a very nice shop, a bar with limited days being open, hottubs nice, gym small. Great view of the beach.

SunDestin Review

Overall we had a great time for the few days that we stayed. The room does not have many places for you to put your suitcases so we kept ours in living room on the floor. The closets in the bedroom are kinda tiny and and the bed is huge so not much room in there for suitcases either. A few things were strange and we thought why not just fix? There is a counter top like thing in the bedroom that I assume covers the AC unit and it had black electrical tape all around it and then the remote control for the TV as well had electrical tape to keep the batteries in. The linens were clean and the room was clean so no complaints there. The restaurant on property was closed so that kinda stunk. And the tiki bar only open till like 5pm?? Not sure If it was just not “in season” yet but that was also a bummer as well. Many rooms are a bit dated although there are some that are renovated. I would give this stay 4 stars! But would likely look to stay at another resort if I returned to the area.
