Take advantage of the fitness facility and complimentary DVD rentals, then wind down in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, or steam room. Hold memorable workshops or host events for a crowd in the SunDestin Beach Resort meeting spaces. Should any questions arise, our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk.



SunDestin Unit 1709 is a bright and cheerful one bedroom, one- and one-half bathroom condo accommodating up to four. Upon entrance, you’ll find this homey retreat peaceful and uplifting. Prepare full meals to enjoy in the unit or assemble snacks for lazy days at the beach in the fully appointed, pristine, white kitchen. With seating for four at both the dining table and on the balcony, there’s plenty of room for all! Curl up on the queen-sized sofa bed in the living room and catch a game on the large, flat screen television. The master suite is equipped with a king-sized bed, flat screen television, and en suite bath for your convenience. Everyone will enjoy majestic sunrises and sunsets from the balcony, directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.



SunDestin Beach Resort, located in the heart of Destin, is just ten minutes from Harborwalk Village on the Destin Harbor. Head on over, book a boat tour, and catch a glimpse of the area’s bottlenose dolphins or charter an offshore fishing excursion. Any day spent on the water is a good day in Destin, FL!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



At SunDestin Beach Resort, do as little or as much as you’d like and do it at your own pace!



Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, and outdoor pool.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.

Condo was great, construction on the building made parking an issue and elevator an issue. Other than that would stay here again. Condo was very nice, well kept, and clean.

We spent 5 nights here and loved it. It’s really a great family place. We had one hiccup with part of the dryer being broken but the staff was quick to help. They gave us a credit so that it would offset using our money for the dryer that was on the floor. No big deal. Oh and the view from the 17th floor, icing on the cake!!!!

Wonderful Stay!

My family and I had a great stay here! We enjoyed the fact we were right on the beach and also had a pool to enjoy after being on the beach all day. The unit was the perfect size for our family of 4 being it has a pull out couch. The beds were a little hard but it didn't bother us as we popped up to enjoy the beautiful view from the 17th floor. The only downside to a high floor are the elevator rides (stopping at multiple floors) to get to your room or lobby so keep that in mind. Overall, we had a great stay and have recommended it to friends and family and will book again!

The unit was clean, in a great location, and the entire stay was very relaxing! The only complaint so to speak was that we were informed there was salt, pepper, and cooking oil in the unit for us to use, so we didn\'t think to bring any. Unfortunately, there wasn\'t any. This was only a very minor issue, however. Aside from that, everything was perfect!

This unit has roaches. We saw one on the countertop by the stove and one on the wall and it went behind the picture on the wall by the TV in the livingroom. After that I bought roach spray and sprayed in the kitchen and livingroom. I informed Becky at the front desk. She was so nice! Some of the cooking utensils had dried food on them, which was nasty. But we just washed them really good and used them. Washer/dryer very small inside. will not stay in this room again.

One calamity after the next

The first night there, a pipe burst 2 floors above us flooding our condo. My husband who is a plumber went up to that room to cut off the main saving the owners of the condos below even more damage. The next day was spent partially in a temp room until a different condo was available. The condo we stayed in was different from what I booked and had no view of the ocean from the bedroom. Considering the first whole day of our vacation was taken up with waiting for our new condo to be ready and we were unable to relax and because the condo we ended up in was not like what I booked. I asked if they would be able to refund us a night of our stay. The manager was unwilling to talk to me, so the desk staff told me she would be in touch. No one has been in touch. We also had the elevator stop working while we were inside and our new room was on the 17th floor making it take much longer going up and down during the day. I'm very disappointed in The Sundestin and Scenic Stays. Ive booked through VRBO many times and never have had an experience like this.
