We loved our stay. It had everything we needed for our 4 kids ages 1-8. It was perfect even on the colder days with the pool spa. The place was clean and charming. The beds were really comfortable. The neighborhood was great and you could see the beach from the house. Being able to walk there was a game changer. We were sad to leave.

The weather was cold but we couldn’t ask for a better experience. Host was informative and responsive. House was cozy and the spa tub was a bonus for sure. The tote to go back and forth to the beach was very handy! The distance to the beach was not bad at all. I would and probably will stay there again.

House was everything as described. Comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Loved the location. The neighborhood was really nice and it’s truly a 5 min walk to the beach. We walked down the beach to the Lani Kai and Times Square for shopping/eating several times. (About 1/2 hour walk). Swim spa was a real treat. We would stay again and recommend to anyone.

We had an amazing stay in this home. The beds were comfortable, linens and towels were provided, the sofa was cozy, the front porch rockers were perfect for morning coffee, the kitchen had everything we needed for meals, the hot tub was incredible, I could just go on and on! The bikes were a bonus as traffic would get a little heavy in the evening due to construction crews leaving the island for the day (there are still many home sites rebuilding from Ian). Short walk to the beach, with a full assortment of beach gear in the garage. So much to do! We relaxed on the beach, went fishing along the surf as well as over at the Mound House dock, rode the bikes all over the place, took nightly beach walks, rented a pontoon boat at Salty Sams, played minigolf at Smugglers Cove. And my son was obsessed with the iguanas, anoles, and agamas that would occasionally scamper across the yard. Our family really treasured this vacation, and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing your home with us, lots of wonderful memories were made.

This rental was everything we expected. The pictures are accurate. We loved the heated lap pool, all the extras (bikes, games, etc.) Proximity to the beach and restaurants was great, also.

Great place for families

This house was perfect for a vacation for a family with various ages. It had everything we needed to entertain/ clean up after the 10mo & 4yo, and keep all the adults comfortable. It was close to newton beach & publix. We really appreciated the baby gear, sand toys, beach chairs & extra towels. The hot tub & deck area were private & wonderful- we probably spent more time there than the beach! We had a wonderful time & would love to stay again!

Fun getaway!

We had a fun time at this beach house. The location is excellent. The house is equipped with all the beach toys you’ll need. The bikes were great for riding around the island. The kitchen was adequate for cooking our meals. Although the house is listed as a 3 bedroom, it’s really a two bedroom. Also, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and we could not sleep on it. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this house and would definitely stay here again.

We visited Fort Myers beach with a daughter who was looking for a home for her family. We fell in love with this house's bright, open and welcoming floorplan. We purchased it to do short-term rentals and to have a place for us to relax with family and friends.

The house was missing outdoor amenities (back yard had overgrown trees) when we purchased the house, we had a vision to make the back yard as inviting as the interior. Bryan spent 4 months designing and building a backyard that he and guests enjoyed relaxing in. Then Hurricane Ian hit and the house was reduced to outer wall, studs and a roof. The back yard was washed away by the 14-foot storm surge the engulfed the island. Every surrounding house has been torn down and new homes are being built.

Rebuilding the interior of the house was completed in February 2024 with Bryan acting as an owner building. He performed about 50% of the work and contracted out the rest.

We rebuilt everything focusing on our enjoyment of the house as we spend enjoyable time with family and friends throughout the year. The back yard was built back better with an oversized swim spa (16 X 8 feet), comfortable seating, fire pit, tanning chairs, eating/game table, swing set (for the grandkids), and corn hole. We added a heated outdoor shower for rinsing off after time at the beach.


Why they chose this property

Staying on the beach is a fun and different that staying off and making day trips. Traffic can be heavy at time due to restricted access. We provide 4 bikes for you to use to get around, you can rent more on the island if desired.

Our house is a 5 minute walk from the beach and we have all of the amenities you need to spend quality time there - chairs, umbrella, shovels and buckets, floating chairs, cooler, and a cart to carry everything in.

The open great room/kitchen floor plan and the inviting back yard provide comfortable space for you and your party to comfortably relax and play while enjoying your time at the beach.

What makes this property unique

As a survivor of Hurricane Ian, our house maintains the charm and the look of old Fort Myers Beach. It is also ground level single story, providing ease of access to all guests.
