Breathtaking ocean view home on the south end of The Sea Ranch

Rosemary Bluff: Unit 15 Lot 8. The home includes a main level living room, full kitchen, dining room, primary suite with king bed and jacuzzi tub, open gallery with a twin bed outside king bedroom (no door!), library with two twin beds with curtains to close off the room from the hallway (no door!), ladder accessible queen bed in loft and a full bath downstairs. An additional studio primary suite with a king bed and full bath is accessible from a private exterior slider entrance on the oceanside deck. No hot tub. One dog allowed.

Living: Large picture windows with ocean views from every room. Wood burning fireplace, original artwork throughout, Free Wi-Fi, 50” HD Smart TV in living room, 40” HD Smart TV downstairs, both with Blu-ray/DVD players. Blue tooth speakers and cd player. Washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, hair dryers in each bathroom.

Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms, 2 king beds, 3 twin beds and 1 queen bed in loft. Linens and towels included.

Entertainment HD Smart TVs with Blu-ray/DVD players in living room and downstairs private suite. Blue Tooth speakers, Direct TV, CD player, games, puzzles, books, coloring books. Free Wi-Fi

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with electric range, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Coffee maker (basket coffee filter), microwave, toaster oven, blender, crock pot, cooking and bake ware, turkey roaster, mixing bowls, hand mixer, cheese grater, salad spinner, colanders, tea kettle. Wine and champagne glasses, corkscrew.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.

Great house overall. The kitchen is a bit small but otherwise the views are amazing and house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed all the trails and beaches within the sea ranch community as well. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Rosemary Bluff! The pics actually do not do it credit; it is MORE beautiful in person! The Living room, Dining room, and Master Bedroom all feature window-walls looking out onto the Pacific Ocean! Gorgeous!

It’s truly such a special place, from the location, to the architecture, to the decor. The house had so much spirit. It was cozy and easy to get around to various sea ranch destinations. We cooked and enjoyed meals at the large table and spent many nights playing games around the coffee table in the living room. The sleeping situation was comfortable and everyone had ample space. We would absolutely stay again and plan to! The one thing we would recommend to the property management would be a larger trash can with a lid as unfortunately we battled a fruit fly problem while there. This does not speak to the general cleanliness of Rosemary Bluff—it was spotless!

Absolutely stunning views! Wonderful house for a relaxing get away!

We had the best time at this house and will definitely be back! The views are absolutely breathtaking from every room! The images just don’t do it Justice. We were blown away! Our dogs had a great time and we saw deer, a bobcat, seals, whales, coyotes and wild turkeys. I wish I could give it a hundred stars for the views alone. The home is eclectic and the beds were very comfortable. We definitely hope to go back!

Reviewer Comments: The best part about this house was the view, and the surrounding neighborhood was very nice. We have been renting houses at The Sea Ranch for 15 years, and this house was by far a terrible disappointment. It needs a lot of TLC; the furniture was uncomfortable and smelled; there were no kitchen towels; no room to put groceries; and, the primary bathroom’s shower door felt like it was going to fall off, and the shower water handles were very flimsy. We booked a four night stay, but left after the third night because it was just too uncomfortable. We will continue to visit The Sea Ranch, but will definitely not return to this house.

Cool house with an amazing view

This is a cool house on the edge of Sea Ranch. Every room has a great view of the ocean. There is plenty of space and a lot of beds for everyone - a large master bedroom with a large attached bathroom that includes a jetted tub, a day bed in the nook, a library with two beds, a loft with a bed for any kids that don’t mind climbing a ladder, and a separate room with a bathroom on the lower level that’s accessible though a sliding glass door. The amazing views make up for the fact that you will have to make an easy drive up highway 1 to get to the walking/hiking paths and beach areas in Sea Ranch. But you are close to the Sea Ranch lodge and Twofish Bakery, which make it easy to get a nice pastry or lunch. There are a lot of paths hikes and we only had a chance to try a few, but they were all beautiful. You get a placard to hang on the rear view mirror of your car they will let you park in the private areas of Sea Ranch and a pass so you can use the private hiking trails. You can get a map of the trails at the sea ranch association for $5. One minor annoyance is that you have to go to Gualala to get keys and passes and have to return there to drop them off. If you want a relaxing home with beautiful views, this is a good choice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been coming up to Sea Ranch a couple times a year for almost 20 years now. And, this is one of my favorite rentals. The views are spectacular from every room. Yes, the decor may be a little dated, but that doesn't matter much to me. The furniture was all clean and comfortable. Everything worked. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was a little small, but well appointed, and functioned just fine for us.It's located at the south end of town, very close to the lodge and Two Fish. It's a longer trek into Gualala, but only like 10 minutes or so. The bluff trail doesn't extend down here, but you can drive 2 minutes to catch it. There are a few steps to get up to the house, so that may be hard for an older person or dog, but it wasn't an issue for us. Also, the loft bed is up a ladder. Again, might be difficult for an elderly person to navigate.I would absolutely rent this place again. Just absolutely stellar.

A weekend at the Sea Ranch

Reviewer Comments: Our stay met (high) expectations, though we were unprepared in a couple of ways that Beach Rentals' literature might have warned us about:1) Rosemary Bluff is about 10 miles south of Gualala, the center of things, and we ended up driving that stretch several times. In a Tesla, and we didn't have the adapter that would have allowed us to recharge at, say, Sea Ranch Lodge. We ended up making a special trip down to Timber Cove and spending a few hours getting enough charge to carry us through.2) A (great!) concert at the Gualala Arts Center ended up running late, letting out at 9:00pm. There's no place to eat open that late!
