Location simple et spacieuse dans les hauteurs d'un village pittoresque . L'Italie comme on l'imagine. Place centrale du village animée grâce aux 2 restaurants et au bar. Attention l'accès ne se fait qu'à pied à partir de l'entrée du village et la très charmante ruelle qui mène à la location est très pentue.

Auto unten im Dorf stehen lassen :)

Bitte nicht mit dem Auto hoch fahren. Meine Stoßstange hat sehr gelitten. :D leider sprechen die Vermieter überhaupt kein Englisch. Aber das ist nicht weiter schlimm. Sonst ist die Unterkuft sehr schön. Es sei denn ein Tourist aus Deutschland zwängt sich durch die engen Gassen mit seinem PKW durch.

Jeżeli ktoś pragnie choć przez chwilę zamieszkać w średniowiecznym, włoskim miasteczku i mieć piękny widok na toskańskie góry i doliny, to polecam apartament w Montecantini V.C. W apartamencie jest dużo miejsca, łóżka wygodne, łazienka w porządku. Brakuje tylko miejsca w szafach na rozłożenie własnych rzeczy oraz pralki, która jest wymieniona w wyposażeniu. Uwaga - faktycznie trzeba wejść pod niezła górkę, żeby dotrzeć do domu. Jest to ciekawa propozycja i alternatywa do standardowych hoteli.

der erste eindruck war was haben wir uns da angetan! steile wege enge gassen alles uralt! aber nach der ersten nacht war alles anderst und es hies wilkommen im urlaub.Reitzende kleine wohnung in einerm uralten bergdorf. auserhalb der heizperiode war es rehcht frisch in der wohnung aber trotzdem gemütlich die wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet aber für 4 erwachsene etwas klein. das dorf ist sehr abgelegen und ruhig . uns hat der urlaub sehr gefallen

Skvělý zážitek ve středověkých kulisách v kamenném centru obce z 11. století. Vše, co je třeba je k dispozici. Doporučit lze všem, co nechtějí dojet autem až k posteli a netrvají na bazénu apod. Krásný pohled je na Montecatini hlavně při zapadajícím slunci.

Abseits der Touristenrouten

Urige, kleine Wohnung auf zwei Etagen in einem alten Haus in der ehemaligen Burganlage in Montecatini. Die Wohnung ist einfach ausgestattet, bietet aber einen sagenhaften Blick über die Dächer in das Tal der Cecina und nach Volterra. Die Wohnung war sauber, aber die Töpfe und Pfannen sind eine Katastrophe. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig in einer kleinen, engen und steilen Gasse. Man kann mit dem Auto zum Aus-/Einladen bis ans Haus fahren, dort aber nicht parken. Die Zufahrt ist eng und steil über Kopfsteinpflaster und nichts für große Autos oder schwache Nerven. ;) Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es unten im Ort. WLAN ist vorhanden und kostet pro Tag 3,- Euro zusätzlich. Empfehlenswert ist ein besuch in der ehemaligen Kupfermine am Ortsrand. Eintritt inkl. Führung (italienisch, englisch, deutsch) mit der wunderbaren Lucia kostet für Erwachsene 7,. Euro, für Kinder je nach Alter 3,-, bzw. 5,- Euro. Dafür gibt es viele Infos, einen Rundgang durch die Ruinen der Gebäude und mit Helm und Taschenlame durch einen kleinen Teil der alten Stollen.
