Beautiful property with plenty of amenities. Our group consisted of kids ranging from 5-15 and adults and we all enjoyed staying at this cabin. We didn’t encounter any issues. Eric is an excellent host.

This property is amazing! Beautiful views of the lake and every amenity you could need. Only wish it was warmer and we had time to enjoy the lake but we used this as our home base for our son’s wedding with all of our kids and spouses with us. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was the perfect morning wake up each day!

Property and lake view beautiful Hot tub, sauna and boat house are great amenities. Very clean, beds are comfortable. We were caught off guard having the caretaker live on the property above the detached garage. But he was a very nice guy and it was no issue. All in all I would recommend this for a larger group.

Hi JaNell. Thank you for your review. I’m sorry you were caught off guard by our caretaker. This is listed in the description of the property and several people mention him in their reviews as being a helpful addition to the property. Our caretaker has lived on property for nearly 10 years and is there to help people should anything arise during the stay. I can assure you he has been fully background checked and has a full time job so he is not there the whole time and generally keeps to himself. If you ask, he can tell you all the best fishing spots and how to catch them! As you mentioned he lives in the apartment above the detached garage. Thanks again for your stay and feedback. -Eric

This home is great for a family vacation. Close to Duluth so a lot to do when you need a break from their beach. House had everything we needed and then some for making meals, relaxing and entertaining.

We had 3 generations of family visiting. There was plenty of room for each to enjoy different types of entertainment and fun. Chris the local caretaker was helpful and let us know when he was available especially when we requested more firewood. The kitchen was well appointed as we cooked each day and there is plenty of room to store food and beverages. Host kept in touch periodically to learn how our stay was going. This property and service is professionally managed and important to our excellent experience.

Perfect for connecting with friends and family. Spent the entire long weekend at the cabin relaxing, playing games, and eating. The sauna and hot tub were perfect. Getting a boat for the lake is highly recommended. Our group of 10 fit perfectly.

This is our group’s third year lodging here for our event in Duluth. It’s been a delight each time. We were very comfortable and had fun with all the amenities. The kids were even brave enough to get in the cold April water!
