Our stay at the cabin was wonderful. A great place to entertain a large family outing. Beautiful spot in the lake, with all the amenities and space for kids to run around. Great communication making check in and check out go very smoothly. Would happily stay again in the future!
The view and property were amazing. The kids had such a great time walking down to the beach and fishing. The location was perfect for a wedding in Poplar WI. We would definitely stay there again! Everything we needed was there.
The lake view and short walk to the beach is amazing, especially for the price!! The home is comfortable yet very clean. There is so much to do inside and out, which means no bored teenagers! This amazing property was even better than described.
Great property with a lot of thoughtful amenities and games. Very short trail hike to a private beach area and a really cool larger public beach where the amnicon river and superior butt against each other.
Host was efficient and easy to contact. Common area to kitchen to dining room was just perfect for a large group as was all the sofas/sectionals. Mattresses comfortable and sheets soft. Beach was beautiful but best suited for individuals with sure footing and love of nature. Second house was a great additional space. Appreciated cleanliness throughout and real silverware and dishwear!! Would return!
Beautiful home. One of the cleanest places we have stayed. Host was very good at communicating with me. Saw lots of deer and wild turkeys come right into the yard which has lots of space for little ones to run around in.
The place is large enough to accommodate 20 adults - we had 10 couples for a family reunion. It's got access to the Lake, and a short walk on the road brings you to the beach which is lovely. We golfed nearby (shout out to the nearby Poplar Golf Course and Campground for hosting our family golf scramble and also hosting our family kickball game). The 2 large kitchen tables held all of us, and the outdoor space was perfect.
The property was very nice and clean. It was very accommodating and well supplied with towels. The kitchen could use a little improvement. It seemed very disorganized and lacked many utensils. We did seem to manage, and all had a great time.
Well stocked kitchen and bedrooms. Beautiful property with plenty of room for our large family. Especially appreciated two large tables for mealtimes. Yard Games in garage and many games in house. Due to remote spot and wild animals , kids could not be outside without adults. The lakefront was a very small area and a bit hard to access. Also could not see lake due to trees behind house. However , very close to Amnicon State park and Falls, which was a highlight. Less than 30 minutes to Duluth nice also. 1.5 hours to quaint Bayfield and apostle islands. Had a minor issue on arrival and host responded quickly with assistance.
I stayed here with my women’s hockey team for a weekend in March. We absolutely loved it. The main house was spacious, had many amenities, and plenty of entertainment (board games, ping pong table, dart board, tvs, etc). The guest house was pretty cool too. The host was thorough about how to access all parts of the property and was highly responsive during our stay. The property was clean and organized, which is important to me. While the drive in was a bit bumpy and long, the location was stunning being right on the lake. We had no complaints and definitely enjoyed our stay. I hope we can come back sometime in the future!
The team had a wonderful stay and really appreciated all the amenities. We've stayed here for the past couple of years and have enjoyed every year since.
Love the vibe of the house and the beauty of the private beach. We also went into Duluth or Superior every day and did the Aquarium, breweries, bike trails, fishing excursions - it was lovely.
Great place in south shore superior! We had 10 adults and 8 kids have a blast here for a crisp fall stay.Great location just outside of Twin ports making it easy to go visit those places. We made a day trip to Bayfield and was a great drive there.Rooms had enough space to have portable cribs.Already looking forward to our next visit with our crew!
