Enjoy this entire 2 story, 1400SF residential home, centrally located within minutes of downtown, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, gas stations, walking/biking trails, Barkers Island, Canal Park, Duluth, MN and much more! Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this 3 bedroom, 2 bath house that sleeps 10, plus 2 couches in the living room!

The space
Walk in the front door to an entryway for you to remove your shoes and a coat rack with hangers to hang jackets. The living room has a couch and loveseat. The dining room table in the living room has 2 leafs that can be added if extra seating is needed (leafs are stored in the downstairs bedroom walk-in closet). There’s a large flatscreen TV and a DVD player in the living room with a Roku for you to connect to your own media platform (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc). There’s a full bathroom downstairs with a closet that has towels and a few extra throw-blankets. The kitchen has all the basic amenities you would need, including a dishwasher, toaster, microwave, full refrigerator with freezer (side by side type with an ice maker), Keurig/coffee maker combo, dishes and silverware for 10+ with pots, pans, knives and cooking utensils. The kitchen has a table with extra seating as well. Also downstairs is the laundry room with a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. 1 bedroom downstairs with a bunk bed - twin over full that offers a walk in closet. Underneath the bunk bed are two drawers that pull out for extra storage, but there is a dresser, as well. No TV in the downstairs room. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed, 2 night stands with drawers, large walk in closet , 1 dresser and a smaller, mounted Roku TV with a DVD player as well. The other, larger bedroom has a queen bed with a nightstand that has a drawer and a bunk bed, twin over full with a standard closet. Again, the bunk bed has two drawers the pull out from underneath for extra storage, but there are 2 dressers, including 1 with a large mirror. There is no TV in this room.

Outside the back door is a deck leading to the backyard where you will find a playhouse (kids are welcome to enjoy it and climb inside and around it), a fire pit and a grill. The backyard is partially fenced, but you’re free to utilize this space as well. The city garbage can and recycling bin is on the side of the garage.
Guest access
This is a great spot to be for getting around the neighborhood. The property is 2 blocks away from Tower Avenue and a 1/2 block away from the city bus line. Parking is on the street - weekly calendar parking is enforced in Superior so be sure to check the house manual.
Other things to note
We do have window AC units, but it is winter time so they are not in the house right now. They will be re-installed in the spring time.

House Rules:

Booking this property and/or checking in to this property signifies your (the renter and all guests that enter the property) understanding, agreement and acceptance of all house rules and that you (the renter and all guests that enter the property) have been given the opportunity to ask questions and seek elaboration on the house rules. All guests must abide by the house rules and house manual. All guests must be registered. Any unregistered guest may result in eviction and/or additional fees. Renter is responsible and liable for all guests, including children (house is not childproof). There is a playhouse in the backyard, play at your own risk. By utilizing the playhouse you agree to "hold harmless" the property owner/host and understand that you assume full responsibility and liability for any and all injuries. No pets. If any animal is discovered on the property you may be evicted without refund and charged an additional fee of a minimum of $500, charged from your deposit and/or the resolution center. No smoking/vaping of any kind inside the home. Smoking inside the home will result in a charge of a minimum of $500, charged from your deposit and/or resolution center. Feel free to smoke outside. Place unlit cigarette butts inside the outside garbage can. Only burn untreated wood inside the fire pit (no trash or leaves). Flames must not exceed 3 feet outside of the fire ring. Do not move the fire ring. Firewood is not provided, but can be provided upon request at an additional fee (or purchased from a local gas station/store). Renters are responsible and liable for any damages/complaints as a result of using the fire ring. Do not leave a fire unattended. Make sure the fire is completely out when you are done enjoying it. Garage is off limits. Parking is on the street. Calendar parking is enforced throughout the city and it is the renters responsibility to park legally. No parking in the alley or behind the garage. Guest shall not receive any mail, packages, or use the property as an address on their ID/Drivers license and/or make the property address their permanent address. Use the local post office for all mail/package deliveries. Host is not responsible/liable for packages/mail. Remove shoes in the entryway. Do not move any furniture or rearrange the home in any way. No burning candles. No glitter, confetti or hair dye - if these items are discovered in the house, there will be an additional fee of an amount to be determined, with a minimum charge of $100. Use the sink drain screens/strainers. There is no garbage disposal. Food must be scraped into the garbage can and grease must be wiped up with a paper towel and disposed of inside the garbage can. Do not open windows in the winter or during rain. Operate the bathroom fans when showering/bathing. Do not remove window screens. Ensure that storm doors are pulled tightly shut at all times so that wind will not force them open and break them. Outside water faucet is not to be used for washing vehicles, filling pools, running sprinklers, watersports, or recreation of any kind. Using the outside water faucet for these purposes will result in additional costs to the renter if an amount to be determined by the owner. No charging electric vehicles - charging your an electric vehicle will result in additional costs to the renter in an amount to be determined by the owner. We have neighbors and noise must be kept at a minimum so as to respect neighbors. Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the rental agreement/eviction without refund and additional charges which may be deducted from the security deposit. Parties and large gatherings/events are strictly prohibited and may result in termination of the rental agreement/eviction without refund and additional charges which may be deducted from the security deposit. Quiet time is between 10pm-8am. No use of a deep fryer inside the house. BBQ grill must be placed a minimum of 15 feet away from the home/playhouse/garage/fence when being used. Charcoal grill and utensils are provided, but charcoal briquettes and lighter fluid are not provided. Check in is at 4pm. Check out is at 10am. Late check out will be charged at $50 per hour - charged from the deposit or through the resolution center. All used dishes must be ran through the dishwasher. All used towels must be placed inside the washing machine. All windows and doors must be closed and locked upon departure. All lights must be turned off and stove/oven/iron/etc. turned off before departure. Please logout of any media platforms on the Roku and Smart TV before departure. Set upstairs and downstairs thermostats to 60 degrees before departure. Ensure all water faucets (sinks and bathtubs) are turned off before departure. Be advised, the home is located in Wisconsin and we do get snow and ice in the winter. The walkways will be shoveled upon arrival, but we will not shovel during every snowfall. A snow shovel will be provided for you to use. All renter(s) and guest(s) of renter(s) agree to “hold harmless” and protect the property, property owner and/or host from any injuries, damages and/or claims resulting from snow and/or ice and understand that the property, property owner and/or host is not responsible or liable. Renters are responsible and liable for any and all damages to the property, inflicted by themselves and/or their guests during their stay - damages may be charged from your deposit, your own or your guest(s) insurance company and/or through the resolution center and/or by any means necessary to fully replace or repair the damages . Any and all injury/injuries of any kind, including physical, emotional, psychological, including deaths and any and all medical bills and/or costs of any kind incurred for those reasons or for any reason whatsoever during the stay, to the renter or their guests, regardless of fault, will be the renters/guests responsibility and shall be covered under the renters/guests own private insurance company or out of their own pocket and all renters and guests shall “hold harmless” and protect the property, the owner of the property and/or the host for any circumstance, regardless of fault, at all times and shall never make any claim or lawsuit(s) against the property, the owner of the property or the host for any reason whatsoever. Booking this property signifies your understanding and acceptance that you (the renter) and all your guests are indefinitely, without expiration, 100% relinquishing and waiving any, every and all rights to claims, lawsuits, judgments and compensation of any kind, for any reason(s) whatsoever and agree to compensate and pay for all Attorney/Lawyer and representation fees including any additional costs incurred by the host, the property and/or the property owner should you (the renter) and/or your guest(s) pursue, initiate, start, file or create a claim, lawsuit, lien and/or judgment against the host, property and/or property owner. All damages and/or breakages must be reported to the owner immediately.

Fabulous getaway
We very happy with everything at the house . The kids enjoys running around outside with the little yard. I strongly encourage families to go and relax in this home away from home. The bunk beds were awesome for the kids. Thanks for a great weekend.

Great stay for marathon weekend
Needed a multi bed location for Grandmas marathon weekend. This place was darn near perfect. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. 15 min drive to canal park. Nice alternative to dealing with the crowds of Duluth.

Why they chose this property

This property is perfectly located so that it is proximal to everything. Groceries, stores, restaurants, fast food, gas stations, Duluth, MN, etc. You can literally get anywhere within minutes. I raised 3 children in this house and it's a terrific house. Well maintained and it's in a great neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

The major benefit of this property is that it is centrally located and the neighbors are terrific. With a partially fenced backyard you can enjoy a fire, or let the kids play in the playhouse.
