The best thing about this condo is the location. It is on the river. We found ourselves dining and relaxing at the patio table and Adirondack chairs on the side of the unit. The hot tub was a delight after a day of hiking, fly fishing, golfing, horseback riding and white water rafting. We did it all! This location is close to everything. The unit was very comfortable and the bed was especially nice and comfy. They provide plenty of bath towels which are very large, nice and fluffy.
One of the reasons we love to rent VRBO's is for the kitchen. We like to cook our own breakfast and occasional dinners (Especially during COVID) we would suggest a new set of pots and pans. The ones in the unit have had better days.
The kitchen faucet is cheap and flimsy. You have to struggle to get the right temperature of water. It is either scalding hot or very cold. More than one dish towel would also be nice. The bathtub needs some Draino, it fills up with water while your taking a shower. One of the Adirondack chairs is coming apart at the arm rest.
Restaurants in the area:
We tried to get a reservation with a local restaurant everyone loves, Dunraven, but they book out 1 to 2 weeks ahead so we did not get to experience it. Most of the city has small Mom
& Pop restaurants and they can be quite pricey with "not so good" food. There are hardly any fast food stops, only McDonalds, Subway, Dominos and Jimmy Johns. We loved the chicken fried steak at " You Need Pie". The service was great and the food even better. The Trailhead Restaurant had an amazing view but was very pricey and the food was not worth it.
We will definitely be back especially to this condo, Unit C
