Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location if you want ocean front & have a dog. Everything I needed. Main TV wasn't working right, but maintenance was there in 5 minutes to fix it. Thank you!

Big Bang for your Buck

I was very surprised, we didn’t pay very much for our stay and I expected just a place to sleep and rest during our stay, but was wrong, this place was great. Everyone from the front desk to the room and the neighbors were fantastic. The thing I liked the most was the constant communication. Fantastic view and great location!

Good for a Pet Friendly Hotel

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The property was very clean. There were some "cosmetic" issues like the floor was all scratched up from what looked like furniture being moved at some point. There are updates that could be done to make it more comfortable, but overall it's a nice place to stay with your fur baby! We have stayed there for a week for 3 years in a row!

At 1140 pm the night before our arrival, we were advised the condo wasn't available due to a maintenance issue. We were offered a substitute but couldn't accept because it wasn't pet friendly. An agent tried to find other accommodations but wasn't successful. I was up until 1 am redoing all the hotel reservations because of this inconvenience. Vacasa was the third party involved.

Not happy about $20/night pet fee added later

We booked a dog-friendly 1BR ocean front, 1118. This was our first time staying at a dog-friendly resort in MB. The positives: the two queen beds in the bedroom were surprisingly comfy, the kitchen was better stocked than most of our previous MB stays, and the place was fairly clean. The negatives: the curtains in the bedroom let in alot of light from the well-lit hallway and the clock on the shared nightstand was BRIGHT red, making it difficult to sleep well. The biggest drawback for us was that there was never any mention in the room information or rate details about an additional fee for dogs. Yet AFTER the reservation was made and paid in full, Vacasa added a $20/night “pet fee.” The room was promoted as dog-friendly, and and there was no option to list a dog as a guest in the actual reservation so I left a comment in the notes section of the reservation that we would be bringing 1 small dog. We assumed the rental fee included any fees for a dog. Luckily there are other pet-friendly resorts that reveal their charges, so we likely will not stay at Ocean Park again.

Pet-Friendly Econo Place

We stayed 2 nights here. Nice accomodations. Economical. The hotel and the rooms have a bit of a lived in feel, but everything is clean. Fridge and ice maker in our room was noisy. Water was milky when we turned it on. The pipes didn't seem to be cleared out. It got better. Inside door didn't fully shut because it would get caught on the fridge. One of the elevators broke during our stay, but there was another, and it was being fixed the next day. The TV in our room was challenging to operate with the way the channels scrolled. This could have been much easier. Staff was nice. It is definitely a pet friendly place. Inside pool and hot tub were great. Weight room needed a physical key. Weight room was small, but the machines were adequate for a basic workout. Easy access to the beach, and the hotel has flood lights pointing toward the beach, so our stretch of the beach was the only lighted up at night. Nice surprise. Pets are allowed on the beach during off season, so that was nice. Several people winter here and do extended stays, so it was nice to chat with them. The free DVD player dispenser in the lobby was a nice surprise. We checked out Elvis and Top Gun Maverick. Movies were all new to DVD. We might stay here off season again because of the pet friendly nature. But I'm not sure this would be such a happy place during the busy season.

Clean and view

Place has a view soon as you open the door. And what a view. It was clean and convenient. Couch is a bed so not real comfy but it was new. The beds in bedroom were fine. Everything worked. Had what we needed to cook. One of the older buildings but in great shape and everyone is friendly.

Not worth the Money

The property was outdated fabric on furniture was dirty. The bathroom was clean and water pressure was good. The building ran out of Toilet paper so to be paying that price and having to buy TP is absurd. Would not rent here again due to place being poorly run and lack of cleanliness.

We loved how clean and safe everything was. The location is perfect for spending quality time at the ocean. The view was spectacular from the balcony. The staff was always kind and very helpful. Checking in was a breeze. We will be back for sure!!!

Dog friendly and clean

The place was great. Very clean and extremely dog friendly. There was some smoking even though listed as smoke free, but the Manager quickly responded and resolved the issue. I will return.

I didn’t like the room or the area I was in. It had a smell to the room I could not stand. I went to go buy blankets and slept on the balcony for the night. I was suppose to stay for two night I left the next day. The picture look better online than in person.

Spring Break 2022

The staff members at Ocean Park Resort were the best. Hands down!! Every time I ran into a staff member they were so nice and always said hi. We vacationed with our little dog for the first time and it was a great experience. I would defiantly go back!!

Hotel a bit dated but very clean. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to your needs. Great pet friendly facility. Visitors need to stay on to of picking up after pets. Just a reminder for them to keep pets under control. Not everyone is excited to meet your dog. Parking lot guidelines were not enforced. There were cars with not tags, cars parked over nite in 15 minute loading spots as well as golf carts parked over nite. I would recommend the facility but ask the visitors to do their part and follow the rules and be respectful of the other guests.

Not what it looks like

The location and view were nice that’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. We stayed in 1118 and the room wasn’t clean. Looks like it was wiped down but really in need of a deep cleaning. This reminded me more of a hotel than a condo. No central air and heat just those air conditioning things like in a hotel room. The pics posted aren’t recent and the resort is run down. There were holes in the ceiling in the indoor pool area and my daughter cut her foot open on a piece of glass at the pool and the front desk just gave us a band aide and peroxide. I had to ask for a towel to clean up all the blood. I didn’t see the staff clean up the glass or blood. You are only given 1 towel per guest and have to exchange them at the front desk ( if they have any) when they are dirty. Overall not pleased and will not stay at this resort again.

Fantastic view and location

Loved the location, very centrally located. Loved the view, right on the beach. Room itself rather dated so some upgrades needed. Kitchen items needed; wine glasses (we bought some and left there) wine bottle opener, mixing bowls. measuring cups, hot pads. Not much thought went into what guests would need while staying here. Very glad you allow pets but $20 per pet per night is a bit outrageous. In my own rental property, I charged $75 pet fee for a week. And considering damage insurance is included in the rental fee, the pet fees go overboard. All in all enjoyed my stay cause what’s not to love about looking out at ocean from the balcony and taking a walk along the beach in minutes. Personnel here are also very friendly and helpful.
