We have had a very nice holiday. The house was perfect, even as the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and the trampoline for the children. Lovely garden!

Great family venue

This villa is situated in a very rural spot, so it was 7km to the boulangerie, but other than this it was an amazing holiday venue for all of us!!! The villa was HUGE and so well equipped - both in the kitchen and with games for the children. The pool was clean and well maintained and was loved by all of the family. The outdoor eating area was a great family focal point and they had even provided citronella candles for the evenings! The upstairs bedrooms did get very warm for sleeping and I would recommend that, rather than 14, the villa would be best for 10 people. Lots of cafes and restaurants 7km away in Saint Fargeau and a supermarket. We all had a wonderful, restful holiday.

We had 10 days at the start of August for a family holiday (grandparents, our children and their partners and two grandchildren), 8 of us in all, the first time we had all been together on holiday for many years, so we wanted this to be really special. The house was excellent, interesting and characterful, very well appointed. The kitchen equipment was very good, with a vast range of utensils and appliances. Bathrooms and showers were all very clean and worked very well.The swimming pool was really lovely, perfect for the children, and very relaxing for the adults too, and we thoroughly enjoyed the barbecue area on the covered terrace as it was very hot some of the time when we were there. The table tennis table gave us a lot of fun too, and the children enjoyed the trampoline.The area was really peaceful and tranquil, just a quiet country lane outside, with the occasional tractor or car going by. It was about 10 minutes drive to the shops in St.Fargeau, two supermarkets there, both very well stocked, not a problem to get to by car. The nearby lanes were also very safe for cycling.There were a lot of interesting things to see in the area, and the house was ideally positioned to visit them, mostly within a drive of about half an hour to an hour away.

A wonderful peaceful location but with a few issues.

In the middle of the countryside but with shops only a short drive away, it was the perfect setting for a family holiday. We very much enjoyed our stay which was very relaxing and our al-fresco meals were an absolute delight. It is well equiped and we were able to prepare meals without difficulty and no shortage of utensils, pots and pans etc. The downside is that the property is in need on both a deep clean and some basic maintenance. There was a lot of dirt and dust and also mould in one of the showers. We enjoyed the swimming pool however we had to clean it before we could use it and it does NOT comply with French regulations in that there is no protective fence around it. The trampoline was not in a safe condition either. We had four small children with us so we had to keep a close eye on them at all times. Although the house instructions state that the CCTV is switched off when it is rented out, we were not convinced as the cameras still showed a red light so they clearly had power. For me, it was almost nostalgic as I spent a number of family holidays in a (family owned) house in a similar condition when I was younger but, if you are looking for a house that is in really good condition, move on.

Bonjour je suis navrée que votre séjour ne vous ai pas satisfait je voudrais revenir sur certains points La piscine est tout à fait au normes françaises car elle a une couverture rigide Le trampoline est aussi au normes il a bien les filets de protection et les coussins de protection Même avec les protections qui sont aux normes pour la piscine et le trampoline les enfants doivent être sous surveillance constamment Concernant le ménage il a été réalisé avant votre arrivée vous auriez du nous le dire ou envoyer des photos pour signaler tout mécontentement nous aurions pu agir Concernant la douche oui malheureusement il y avait des taches noires du à la nombreuse utilisation de la douche cela a été réparé depuis et je tiens à vous rassurer les caméras ne fonctionnaient pas Je trouve que de dire que la maison est en mauvais état est exagéré surtout que vous étiez les derniers vacanciers de toute la saison et nous n’avons eu aucune remarque Merci pour votre séjour très bonne continuation à vous

Leuk, ruim huis met mooi zwembad. Rustige omgeving en volop ruimte zowel binnen als buiten. Goed voorziene keuken, alles in ruime mate aanwezig. Genoeg activiteiten mogelijk in de omgeving.Woon- en slaapgedeelte beneden prima. Bovenverdieping, met uitzondering van de badkamers, absoluut renovatie noodzakelijk: oud meubilair, lekkage bij harde regen, stoffig en niet te traceren geur in twee slaapkamers en overloop.
