Welcome to Moss Quadrant House, a charming Rockaway Beach vacation rental that comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests, perfect for a coastal getaway with family or friends. Situated just half a mile from Highway 101, you'll enjoy easy access to Rockaway Beach's restaurants and shops, as well as nearby towns like Tillamook, just 25 minutes away.

This one-level home includes a spacious living room with a half bath, a kitchen and dining area, three cozy bedrooms, and a bonus room with seven beds, making it ideal for large groups. Step into the home through the mudroom, where you'll find a comfortable living room equipped with a large flat-screen TV, sofa, loveseat, recliner, and a corner sitting area, perfect for enjoying a book or the sun. The home is filled with thoughtful touches like an old roll-top desk with local information and a small table for board games or meals.

The house features three well-furnished bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, dresser, and smart TV. The primary bedroom has its own full bathroom, walk-in closet, and a 42-inch TV with a Roku stick and DVD player. Additional TVs in the guest rooms (use Firesticks) and the bonus room ensure plenty of entertainment options.

The fully-equipped kitchen includes a brand new stove, refrigerator, upgraded coffee maker that is a Keurig/coffee pot combination (coffee/coffee pods/coffee filters are not provided) and more. Child-friendly dishes, a dishwasher, a high chair, and a pack-and-play are available for your convenience. Entertainment abounds with WIFI, cable TV, a DVD player with a movie collection, child-friendly board games, toys, and books.

The mudroom/laundry room offers a washer, dryer, and sink, perfect for cleaning up after a day at the beach. The home also comes with beach toys and yard toys stored on the enclosed porch.

Outside, enjoy the fire pit right off the deck, ideal for evenings by the fire. Additionally, this home includes a cozy studio with two full-sized futon beds, a kitchenette, washer/dryer, and forest views. The studio offers a private parking spot and occasional deer sightings at your door.

Excellent House

We were just looking for a nice place to be able to relax for a few days and it was perfect. It is in a great location and provided us with exactly what we wanted. Our only complaint was that we could not stay longer.

Great little gem!

This house has everything you need. Even sandtoys! My family had an amazing time inside the house and out at the beach everything.... except for food and drinks!

Comfortable and Roomy

We very much enjoyed our stay. Kitchen could use more plates and we could have used more towels. Termites are definitely a problem. Beds and Living Room couches/recliners were very comfortable. The roominess was perfect for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

the location was perfect, had plenty of space, amenities and parking. we used the deck by the grill most, being able to do laundry was a bonus, some traveled 3 days to get there. 5 minute walk to the beach ans shops. Close to Tillamook, and pretty close to

It was over all pretty good. No grill. We had to go buy one. Mastee bathroom sink sliw to drain. Not able to brush teeth in there. Not as clean as it sgould have been for having a 250 cleaning fee. I left it cleaner t hen when we arrived.

On the whole, we very much enjoyed our second stay. On the down side, Main bathroom door knob was stuck shut, with our 11 year old grandchild stuck inside. We had to remove the door knob to get him out. Master bathroom sink was stopped up. Dryer had a fan belt that needs to be replaced as it made a constant, very loud noise. Kitchen toaster did not work and dishwasher top shelf kept coming apart. These are simple maintenance problems and except for the bathroom door knob, easily fixed. Still, we loved the roominess and the comfort of the home.

Nice Location

The positives: nice house, clean & tidy bedrooms & bathrooms. Furniture was comfortable ( except one negative to follow). Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Location was nice and peaceful . The negatives: kitchen had plenty of dishes, silverware, appliances and bakeware, but they were greasy and had food particles stuck on them. Kitchen floor hadn’t been mopped, and barely swept. Some of the cabinets had stuck /dried food on the face, fridge was smeared with something, kitchen windowsill was gross with smeared grease & who knows what. Washer & dryer were a nice treat, but had globs of white pet fur inside. Leather chair in living room had splatter of white crusty stuff on it and front windows were smudged with hand prints and what I assume were wet dog nose smudges. Given the house is non smoking inside and on property, fire pit had many cigarette butts in it. Given the price paid for this rental, I highly doubt I would rent this home again. Really wanted to give this place a good review, but given the negatives, it would be unfair to any other potential renters to not point out these issues. Could I have contacted VRBO about these issues, yes I could of, but to be honest, I was so damn mad at how filthy some things were, that I felt it best to calm down first, which happened after I got home.

Rockaway Beach

The location was convenient but located on a gravelly dirt road. The beds were comfortable except for a twin bed that was extremely noisy, waking people up. In general, the home needs a DEEP cleaning. It was minimally cleaned. The beds were nicely made (other than that top bunk as listed in the description). Has plenty of clean body, hand towels, and washcloths. Studio has a separate entrance located on the back of the home. It shares the walls of the back two bedrooms (you can hear through the walls). Both the main home and studio have a distinct, unpleasant, strong odor to it (we purchased air fresheners to use during our stay). The kitchen had a variety of cooking utensils. We cooked there for all our breakfasts and some dinners. There wasn’t enough dishwasher pods provided to run the dishwasher every day, so we hand washed the dishes most of the days. Has washer and dryer to use both in the main home and in the studio. Three small packets of detergent provided. The dryer in the main home had an ear-piercing squeal to it (which we reported). There is NO BBQ grill to use (only charcoal grill). Half bath off the living room, toilet/bathtub in the hall, & toilet/shower (master bedroom), toilet/shower (studio). Home accommodates a larger group. I can't say I'd stay here again but it worked for this trip. Communication was as good as it could be through a third-party manager (Oregon Beach Vacations). Reps couldn't fully answer all my questions prior to our arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a really nice stay at this beach house. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog with us to stay at the beach. This house was a really nice size for our family of six. There was plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own bed which was nice. The cleanliness of the house was not good. The house cleaner needs to do a much better job at thoroughly cleaning this house. The bathroom toilet was not clean, the floor had fingernails on it. The carpets was not vacuumed and the kitchen floor was dirty when we went to sweep just after arriving, etc. We really liked the house but the cleanliness of it was disappointing. We really liked the size of the kitchen table which was able to accommodate all of us and even have extra room. It was nice to have 2 1/2 bathrooms and a nice size living room to relax in. The property and some furniture is dated but pretty spacious. The kitchen is small but fully stocked which was nice because we did all our cooking at the house. This property is located across the main highway from the beach. It is probably about a 10-15 minute walk. We just decided to drive to the beach each time we went. The house is right up the street from the downtown shops and little grocery store which is nice. There is no view of the beach from the house. All in all it was a great stay but the house needs to be cleaned!

Nice getaway

Nice little town with gift shops. About 15-20 mins away from the Tillamook cheese factory. The little grocery store down the street from us had everything we needed. Really relaxing. The living room was super spacious.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So many rooms and beds! Loved the extra little studio apartment. There is an extra leaf for the dining room table to accommodate more people. Lots of extras in the kitchen, there is a mixer and many spices. We had a simple Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was more than sufficient for that. A couple things to know- the house is not ADA if you need that although it is all on one level, and the room with all the bunkbeds is open to the rest of the house- there is no door on that room although they do have a baby gate if needed. It is not close to the beach but both deer and raccoons came by while we were there.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

We took our first family trip in 12 years. There was plenty of space for myself and my husband, my elderly parents, my sister and her husband, and my brother, his wife, and their 2 little boys (and the pups). It had a great layout! We loved that the living room had a door to separate it from the rest of the house. When the boys got rowdy, we would have them play in the living room and shut the door. The rooms were at the end of the hall at the back of the house, so the noise didn't carry too much and no one was disrupted from their nap. The master bedroom was perfect for my parents because it had it's own private bathroom. It was also the last bedroom down the hall the farthest from the noise. :) The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals together. The location was very quiet and had plenty of parking. The only criticism I have is that the kids room had a large open archway into it with no door. I may have just missed that on the listing. We had a 4 year old and 2 year old, and bedtime and nap time were hard without a door. My brother and his wife slept in that room too and there was no privacy. It would be nice if there was at least a curtain option to close it off. Overall, we had a great trip and we would definitely rent this house again!
