Anniversary trip

We really enjoyed our stay. Quiet area and just a short walk to beach, where we basically felt like we had beach to ourselves. Room had everything we needed. Would stay again.

I didn’t realize this condo was actually a motel room, which is fine, however the door is exposed to any and everyone with only a deadbolt. No inside only lock for protection. There needs to be something you can lock from the inside as well. It was just 2 females alone so we used furniture and suitcases to blocks the door just to feel a little safer.

Cute and quaint. Had the beach and pool pretty much to ourselves. Lots of hooks to hang and dry your stuff on, attention to detail. Will definitely be back! Great for a long weekend.

Second year - EXCELLENT vacation

We love this property! Will be coming back - such easy vacation- right on the beach, store next door if you need anything, tons of restaurants, a pool - really, nothing more we’d ever need. LOVE LOVE LOVE - and we are driving 9h for this- not a single doubt- it is worth it!!!

We have rented several different condos at Ocean Sands and all are comfortable, clean, and convenient location to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Perfect for my family of 3. Looking forward to our next stay in a few months. 🏖️💙

Perfect Beach Getaway

This was a last minute vacation and hadn’t booked through VRBO before, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Room was clean, any questions we had were answered promptly, and we loved it. The beach was beautiful and just steps away. With all the units in the complex we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Had a wonderful time!

This was a clean room, location was wonderful! My only issue was that the picture of the room I thought I booked didn't have a futon....I don't think. My husband has a bad hip and had issues and we thought we would have a couch instead. Not a big issue, and I should have included that was necessary in my note when I booked. Communication with the owner was great, easy process checking in and out. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for a great experience for our first time at Atlantic Beach, NC😊

We loved that the property is (really and truly) within walking distance to the beach. What is an extra plus is the beach was not crowded...down by the multi-story hotels the beaches are super crowded...this area is mostly crowd free. There is also a beautiful swimming pool on the property.The room is like a tiny apartment...actually, I could live there forever. All the linens were very nice, crisp, and clean. The kitchen area is well stocked for those wishing to cook and dine in. Coffee pot. Microwave. Soap. Shampoo. Hair dryer. Ceiling fans. Great air/con. There is a laundry room on the property...we did not use it. Happily the tiny closet has two beach chairs. We love, love, love the property and definitely will return.

Room was very clean. Very short walk to beach, as it’s directly behind the bldg. we did not see 1 bug or insect in the room for the 5 days we stayed!!! The back yard actually does have a fair amount of grass. Was good area to walk our small dog. Also they have 2 pet clean up stations located in the back as well.

Location location location! Great place for a quick get away. Communication with the host was great! It was very clean and well cared for. Worth the money spent. Great size for 2 adults 4 adults would have been tight. No noise issues at all! Couldn’t hear my neighbors and the place looked full! Location was perfect the only thing I wish was there was a ramp so you could bring a wagon on the beach. Beyond the owners control but a ramp to the beach would have been nice. Saw a lot of elderly people struggling going up the stairs. The one thing I will recommend is take a picture of the keys when you arrive and when you leave. Unfortunately a set of keys was not counted for and I am positive there was only one set hanging up next to the one parking pass. So I just thought one key one parking pass for the one guest. Had to pay 50 to replace it even though I know the second set wasn’t there. But the agreement states if they are lost during my visit I need to pay. Can’t argue it is a he said she said. Even though I had a video of when I checked it and in the video you can see the one key hanging up.
