We had a much needed quite long weekend of fishing at the cabin. We had everything for a comfortable stay. Great hosts, were friendly and helpful. This was our 2nd time staying here and hope to return again next year.

This was my 5th time staying at the Pinecone cabin at the Griffis Road Marina. I am heading back in 2 weeks. Great location, tremendous value and wonderful hosts. The lake is perfect for jet skiing, boating and kayaking. I also bring my bike and ride on some of the nearby trails. I like to cook all my meals when traveling and the kitchen is very well equiped. The marina is located at the end of a secluded cove and also has a beach. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay.

Griffins rd marina cabin

Very comfortable cabin. Great fire pit with marina / lake view, not to mention free firewood. Will most likely book for future visits to the lake

Great Return Trip

We stayed in the Pinecone Cabin last year and had a great time. This year was just as good. Nice clean accommodations in a perfect location. The rental includes a boat slip in the marina out front. The Great Sacandaga Lake is perfect for any type of water sports. We are going back in one month.

Another great stay

This is the second year we stayed at this location. The cabin was clean and had all the kitchen appliances and cookware needed. I would recommend to friends.

Perfect Location on a Beautiful Lake

The cottage was definitely older but was clean. The bathroom looked like it been redone recently and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare your meals. The view from the cottage is much better than the impression you get from the online photos. The best part about the property is the location. The Griffis Road Marina is in a very secluded cove and is very calm. We had our Seadoo docked there for 6 days and rode over 200 miles during our stay. The Lake is Beautiful with many small islands that you can stop at. I studied the nautical depth chart before our visit. Our PWC does have a garmin, depth finder and charts. For a first time visiter this was important because the lake does have a lot of shallow areas. We would definitely consider returning to this property.

This was my fourth stay at this property. I am going back two more times this year. The marina is located in a perfect place away from boat traffic. The cabin has everything you would need for an enjoyable stay.

A great two weeks.

Spent two weeks at lake cabin. The cabin was clean and managers were very attentive to all our needs. Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. Had a great stay.

Cozy get away

We had a great time! We brought kayak's that we used in the lake. I did have to clean the air conditioner filters and there was a leak in the roof in the kitchen. The owners stated the roofs are being replaced very soon, so that shouldn't be an issue for long. I loved the coffee bar! The only thing we would have liked was less rain!

A great getaway

We loved our stay at cabin 412. Everything we could have needed was there and made the stay more welcoming. Even the coffee bar and s’mores basket! The cabin was very clean and the property was well maintained.

Perfect lake vacation

It was a great location right on the lake. It has everything that you would need to have a wonderful experience away from home! Josephine provided me with a ‘coffee’ bar that made my mornings amazing while I sat looking out at the water and the sunrise.

Great host, great stay

We had a great stay at the Sacandaga Lake Cabin. Bill and his family were wonderful hosts and provided everything we needed. They were always 'around' the facility (marina) so if there was anything we had questions about or needed, they were pretty much right there. I was a little disappointed that they couldn't control the weather a bit more, but maybe that will come with time. :-)
