Newly remodeled Texas Hill Country Retreat allows you the possibility of 'leaving it all behind', as you enjoy the wildlife and nature trails. This complex is unique in that it is off the beaten path, yet minutes from everything! All new beds allow for restful relaxation after your day's activities.

Should you prefer the active lifestyle: the Comal and Guadelupe Rivers are just minutes away, and provide rafting opportunities year round. For that baby-back rib dinner: the Gristmill in Gruene, TX is a great place for dining, also only a 5-7 minute drive. Schlitterbahn WaterPark, the #1 rated water park in the USA by Good Morning America, is only a 10 minute drive away. The McKenna Children's Museum located downtown on San Antonio Street and will provide hours of fun and memories for you and your kids.

Should this be an adult weekend: you will find great restaurants as well as dancing at the Gruene Hall (the oldest dance hall in Texas) in Gruene, Texas. Famous musicians frequent this arena, so check the calendar for specific appearances. The many golf courses and wineries provide great variety for any one choosing this area to vacation or just to get away for a quick weekend!

Lovely and clean

The condo was so cute and CLEAN. It seems the owner wants to make you feel at home. There was ample supplies like coffee and creamer and sweetners, etc. I was so pleased that we did not have to go out and purchase Paper Towels or toilet paper, etc. It was nice to have such a cute and wonderful place in which to enjoy New Braunsfels.

Awesome experience at this condo!

A group of 6 of us came to NB for a tennis tournament. The location was perfect and the property is in excellent condition. It served our group well and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The unit is bigger than the pics seem. The property manager Barbara was so easy to work with and very accommodating. The unit is VERY well stocked with almost everything you might need!

Great Location for a quick TX Getaway

Our ladies group of 4 had a great time and the condo was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, very spacious and the decor was just enough to make you feel at home. There was a kids camp letting out at the time of our arrival, so the entrance and streets were quite crowded. Our condo was a great central location for us to drive a short distance to Gruene, have dinner, and walk around all the shops and also float the river the next day. There was an HEB as well as drug store and several restaurants and fast food locations within a short distance as well. Needless to say, this was exactly what we needed for our "girls weekend" and we would do it all over again!

I am a native East Texas resident, who loves the Texas Hill Country As tennis is one of my favorite activities: I really enjoy the two tennis courts just outside my condo. We enjoy our Hill Country Retreat with family and friends. Our grandchildren especially enjoy headquartering in this condo and then venturing out to explore the Hill Country. We have recently begun geo-caching in and around the Hill Country. You will be pleased to note that there are many geo-caches very close to our villa. This is a family activity suitable for all ages. It is like a treasure hunt...just google geo-caching and you, too, will be hooked. We bring our bikes on most visits and everyone enjoys exploring the landscape one peddle at a time.

Why they chose this property

Our family has vacationed in the New Braunfels area for the past twenty-five years. About nine years ago, we made the decision to purchase one condo, which we loved sharing with others. Seven years later, we added another condo in the same complex. As a member of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, I became aware that New Braunfels is one of the top THREE DESTINATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES! I KNEW there was a reason I kept coming back here to the Texas Hill Country. Come by, stay for a weekend or a week, and you'll see what I mean.

What makes this property unique

This specific unit is nicknamed RETRO. You will enjoy the old style formica table popular back in the 1950's. This two bedroom unit enjoys private baths for each bedroom, along with a large living area, and is on the bottom floor of a two story building. The condo is beautifully furnished and looks out on two tennis courts. The swimming pool is just steps from your front door beneath the canopy of a 500 year old oak tree. There is even a kiddie pool for the little ones. Picnic tables and grills beside the pool make your evening meal a snap!
