About this property

This 1868 renovated house is within walking distance to several local attractions, such as beautiful Historic Downtown New Braunfels, Wurstfest and tube rentals. Conveniently located near three River Outfitters, the Comal River is within a football field away. This house has a very laid-back and down home feel. It is fully furnished including stocked kitchen cabinets, washer & dryer, towels, etc.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the quaint front porch before starting your fun-filled day. This house has cable and internet for your enjoyment, along with games.
The stocked kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster, crockpot, blender, utensils and more.
There is an attached laundry room that is supplied with detergent and folding counter.
The dining room is located between the kitchen and living room, which is great for entertaining.
The first bedroom has a queen sized pillow top mattress. There is a dresser and desk, along with an armoire for hanging your clothes. There is a full sized bed in the second bedroom, along with a dresser. Extra pillows and blankets are provided.
The bathroom, which includes a tub/shower combo, connects the two bedrooms. The bathroom includes towels, hand soap, and toilet paper.
Bring your BBQ to cook on the gas grill located near the back yard and picnic table. Propane provided!
Guest parking is located behind the cottage.

Railroad track located alongside the house is privately owned and only used occasionally during the day. This train has NO HORN!

Wurstfest

We were in town for a graduation and Wurstfest. This house was in a perfect spot walking distance to Wurstfest and central location for the graduation.

Absolutely loved this place! Incredibly convenient, outstanding host, adorable furnishings, & extremely clean. We float the River every year and this was by far our favorite place we have stayed. We look forward to coming again!

Charming cottage, super comfortable and well appointed. Steps away from Texas Tubes and the Comal River. Responsive/friendly ownership. Would definitely return.

Weekend away at the river

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house and location were all perfect for our weekend away. Will definitely come back to stay for another visit in the future.

The perfect spot!

This is a great place to stay if you want to float the Comal, go to Schlitterbahn, or visit downtown NB. Literally a 90 second walk to Texas Tubes on the Comal. Short drive (7-10mins) to either section of Schlitterbahn (depending on the day of the week and traffic). Walkable to downtown shops and restaurants if it’s not too hot (otherwise 3–5 min drive). The place was clean, cool, and comfortable. There were games that our family enjoyed playing. Hope to return someday and would highly recommend to others.
