About this property

Gorgeous 2 bedroom Casita on the Guadalupe River walking distance from Gruene.

Beautifully decorated two bedroom one bath Casita complete with fully equipped kitchen, complimentary coffee bar, and laundry room. Wonderful amenities throughout with an upscale atmosphere and attention to detail. BBQ gas grill on the upper patio, lower patio has seating with a beautiful view, and direct Guadalupe river access. Steps down to the river have a hand rail, although not easily accessible for the physically challenged.

Just a short walk to downtown Gruene! EV charging station for guest use only, including high-speed Wi-Fi and streaming smart TV’s. Thorough cleaning initiatives in place for the safety of our guests. We’re also a 100% non-smoking property; no smoking or vaping allowed inside.

Come and enjoy some true Texas hospitality. Take in a concert at the famous Gruene Hall, dine at wonderful nearby restaurants, grab a cold beverage at numerous taverns & live music venues, or enjoy shopping the convenient antique and boutique shops. We’re just a short drive away from Schlitterbahn Water Park, downtown New Braunfels, Wurstfest, Landa Park, the Comal river, and ~20min to the San Marcos Outlet Malls!

Located on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, you can easily take a day excursion to visit Austin, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, or San Antonio. In fact, some of the most famous BBQ in Texas is easily within driving distance.

We can't say enough great things about the property and the host for this casita! Everything was exactly as pictured and they have thought of everything for your stay! The host were so responsive and went the extra mile to make our stay extra special (we were celebrating a 50th birthday)! We loved the river access and spent evenings down on the lower deck overlooking the river. This casita is within close walking distance to Gruene Hall and very close to shopping, restaurants and bars! We walked the entire weekend. We can't recommend this property enough and will definitely be back!

Great casita walking distance from Gruene and the Guadalupe river

We had a great stay at this casita. Clean, modernized facility with great amenities! Kids loved the bunk beds and the access to the river, and mom and dad loved the location (10 min walk to Gruene, 10 mins drive to grocery store and tons of restaurants). Highly recommend!

Wonderful weekend getaway

Terry and terry do an amazing job at creating a home away from home! The casita is so close to everything Gruene has to offer. It was so clean and homey and the access to the river is wonderful. We had the best time.

Wonderful Weekend Away

We had such a peaceful and relaxing weekend stay at the Casita! The home was absolutely beautiful with so many well thought out details and the host was so welcome and accommodating. We enjoyed a lot of the local restaurants and spent time down by the river behind the Casita. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time and the Casita is absolutely fabulous. You could definitely walk to the shops in Gruene. Property was clean, cute and comfortable. Would stay again if we ever visit Gruene again. Terry was the best host.

Waterfront Casita

Owner communication was great; upon arrival the property is pristine and better than advertised- clean, comfortable, extra amenities and private. It was walking distance from downtown where we attended a show and not having to rush out to catch an Uber was the icing on the cake. Would recommend this property to anyone considering a visit to this area.

Gotta Love It!

The Casita is our favorite vacation rental ever! Terry was very, very helpful. The location was perfect as my niece's wedding was only a mile away. We were also close to all of the fun places in Gruene. The stroll down to the river was so lovely and tranquil. We loved sitting on the front porch with coffee in the morning, enjoying the sunrise. Wonderful!

Perfect Casita in Gruene

My family had a great time on a long weekend in Gruene at this property. The house was very well stocked with what we needed, clean, and comfortable for a family of 4. You can park your car and walk the rest of your stay to local restaurants, shops and entertainment venues, the host gave us excellent recommendations and suggestions for things to do. The house connects to the river, it was a little cold for us to jump in, but we did see a few others and we spent hours playing cards along the river and enjoying the view- overall a great location, great property, and great host.

Love Gruene TX

Been to Gruene TX four times now from Boise ID. First time we stayed a couple nights. Couldn't have picked a better place. Short walk to town, beautiful river access and the home is perfect. If we ever make it back this will be our first pick. Thank you, Terry and Terry. Jeff and Nancy

Clean, Cozy and close to town- AMAZING place!

This was hands down the most clean and organized rental I've ever stayed in. The soft and comfortable bedding, huge beautiful walk-in shower, Right down to the fixtures, everything is top notch quality and nicely done. Our family of four never felt cramped and really enjoyed the golf cart rental which made the scoot into town way more fun. Loved being a one minute drive from downtown Gruene, coffee shops, tons of shopping, Rockin R, etc. The river access out back is a dreamy, relaxing view and a unique spot with a nice yard to camp out for the day. We can't wait to go back next year.

I built the Casita at the front of my property to accommodate ease of access, while also allowing convenient river access just down the steps with a quaint location for guests. My personal home is at the rear of the property, however I do respect my guests privacy.

Not only is my beautifully appointed Casita walking distance to the downtown Gruene area and local venues, but it also has private water access to the gorgeous Guadalupe river. There was a lot of thought and taste put into the decor, with upscale amenities to ensure my guests have everything they need for a wonderful stay.
