Welcome to Opie's Cabins. These Cozy Cabins are fully restored 100-year old Rail Road Cabins, located near the Comal River. The Comal River is within walking distance and can been seen from the deck. Texas Tubes is located next door for easy outdoor fun. Each Cabin is uniquely decorated with it's own theme. All 8 cabins are connected with a gorgeous deck, which makes reserving multiple cabins more convenient for larger parties and groups.

This property is perfect for floating the Comal River. Texas Tubes is directly in front of the cabin

Overall this is a very affordable and convenient place to stay.. floating the Comal, going to eat, or live entertainment is all within a 10 minute walk

My Go-To New Braunfels Place!

This isn’t the first time staying in these unique and charming cabins and I’ll be back again and again! Each has its own theme (German for this visit) and access to Downtown couldn’t be better! Veronica is very accommodating and responsive…thanks Veronica!

The cabin was above and beyond our expectations. It was so convenient to Texas tubes to hop right into the river. Parking was great, grills were great. Overall great experience I would definitely come back and stay again.

Short getaway

We had an amazing short getaway! It was a short walk to Texas Tubes. We were able to float the river twice in one day. Complimentary the second time for staying at these cabins. Super close to downtown and shops. Definitely coming again!

Loved this stay!

We had a big group that stayed in the bigger house so we were able to have our privacy but still be with our friends. House was so cute and clean! We got to walk down to the tube area and they allowed us to float as many times as we wanted without paying extra since we were staying at the cabins. Will def be coming back

Last float

This was the last float for us this year and our first time staying at Opie’s Cabins. It was the perfect size and perfect location if you’re wanting a cozy getaway. The property is clean and the parking is worth the price of admission. We’ll definitely be back.

Great Stay!

It was our first time here and we have already booked again! In walking distance to two tubing company’s to float the river. Very convenient! Check in was easy, had a fully stocked kitchen (utensils, dish soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc) bathroom (towels and toilet paper & extra blankets. We got to meet the owner and she was very sweet! Love these cabins and we have recommended them to all of our friends and family! We had a great stay!

Best ever! We will go back!

Not only are these cabins super cute and have everything you need, but the location is perfect! Walking distance to Texas Tubes. Super short drive to Schlitterbahn, HEB, Buccees, Downtown New Braunfels, Gruene, etc. There were great local eating options close to the cabin too. The ease of confirmation and communication were top notch! Our family of 4 agrees, it's our new spot to stay in the summer!

Cabin experience

Me and my Wife really enjoyed the cabin. We will come again. We could tell a lot was put into the way it looks. I wish the view was a little better. That hotel next door is an eye sore. All in all I would recommend it to a friend. It just way too cool.

River cabin get away

This little cabin is perfect for a couple. It was so convenient to the river we couldn’t have asked for a better location. There isn’t a closet for hanging close but there are hooks located through out to hang things on. It has everything else you could need for the perfect river floating weekend get away. Neat and clean. Cute decor and cozy!

Always Lovely

We really enjoyed Veronica’s cabin! It was in a perfect location for tubing and swimming. We were able to walk to dinner. Lots of deer, which my daughter really loved! Veronica’s cabin was lovely, we really enjoyed the space. Very clean and decorated so cute.

Stay was perfect for what we needed. The comal river just had way to many rules so we had to go to the Guadalupe.
