The Cottage features a perfect two-person bedroom, a private bathroom, and a rear fenced-in garden courtyard. The Cottage and its lovely courtyard garden are exclusively yours. It's separate from the main house on the property.

This boutique property with 6+ woodland acres will enchant with its lush gardens and big open lawn with a mini fruit orchard. We're nestled on a charming country road leading to Old Mystic, passing farms, ponds, and the forested valley of Lantern Hill. Nearby ponds are perfect for fishing, canoeing, and swimming, while Lantern Hill offers stunning views of the Mystic River and Fishers Island Sound. Hike our woodland trails, including the one to the top of Lantern Hill.

Outdoor amenities that you can enjoy include a covered outdoor lounge, hammock, firepit, and propane grill. We're proud to be 'Connecticut Green Lodging' certified, prioritizing sustainability and the beauty of nature in all we do - from gourmet breakfasts made with local ingredients to eco-friendly bath amenities and electric vehicle charging stations.

The Cottage is well-equipped whether you decide to stay 2 days or 2 weeks. It includes a queen-size bed with Tuft & Needle mattress, deluxe linens, plush towels and bath robes, super fast wifi, microwave, a medium-sized refrigerator, hairdryer, iron, electronic safe, heat and air conditioning, and EO brand organic bath products. A daily cooked-to-order breakfast with organic options (special diets welcome) is included in the price of your stay. Breakfast is served from 8 AM-10 AM and can be enjoyed in the dining room or delivered to your Cottage.

For pet owners: A pet fee applies, which is additional to the room rate. We invite you to bring up to two well-behaved, non-destructive pets. We expect that your pet(s) will not do any damage to the property. If your pet creates any damage inside or outside of the Cottage, you will be responsible for any incurred repair/replacement costs. Pets must be controlled by you at all times, and not create excessive noise, either from barking or whining. Guests are expected to bag their pet's waste.

Incredible place to stay

I absolutely loved this spot. I had such a great time and I actually miss it! I especially love the trails behind the inn. I had no idea that it was Pequot territory. It is really marvelous. Great to walk on. Not too hard, not too easy, tons of history, and a real sense of the sacred nature of Lantern Hill. I highly recommend.

The cottage is perfect!

I really enjoyed my stay at the cottage. It’s a separate little house w a fenced in outdoor area. The hosts were very responsive. It’s very clean and parking right out front. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cottage

We absolutely loved the cottage. It was beautiful I wish we had more time to stay. We will definitely be going back! Erika was great at communicating and made the whole process very easy.

This boutique property will fill you with that "away-from-it-all" feeling with its 6+ acres of forested woodlands, manicured perennial gardens, and large open lawn. We're located on a scenic winding country road running north from Old Mystic past farms and fresh water ponds to our location in the forested valley of Lantern Hill. The ponds (Long Pond, Bush Pond, and Lantern Hill Pond) are popular for freshwater fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Lantern Hill is the highest point in the area. From the peak, you can see the Mystic River and Fishers Island Sound. From our property, you can access beautiful woodlands trails including the one to the top of Lantern Hill. By car, turning left out of our property takes you right into Mystic, Connecticut. It is a pleasant, short bicycle ride for cycling enthusiasts.
