As you enter into this lovely home you are greeted with an open floor plan with a seaside feel. The dining table has ample seating for all of your guests to dine after a day by the pool. 2 Queen size sofa sleepers! NEW WASHER & DRYER!
The living room has a comfortable sitting area with plush sofas to kick back and relax after a day in the sun and watch your favorite movie on the big Flat Screen cable TV. Visible from the living room, is your dining/kitchen area. The kitchen includes refrigerator, dishwasher, glass top stove, disposal, standard coffee pot, and blender. For additional sleeping arrangements the living area offers two queen size sleeper sofas.
Making your way down the hall you will find the master bedroom features a plush queen size bed with a flat screen cable TV. The master bathroom offers a full size bathroom with shower. The guest bedroom offers a queen size bed with flat screen cable TV. This second guest bedroom offers two twin beds and a flat screen cable TV. All the bedrooms have closets. The guest bathroom offers a full size bathroom with shower. The sleeping arrangements are perfect for a group of adults, fishermen, or families.

Yes, the pool was enjoyable, but it was cold as hell. It says it’s a heated pool, but they don’t be pacific about the community pool, which doesn’t make any sense.

Hidden Gem!

This home might be a little older but dont let that turn you off. this home has everything you could ask for! Location, back yard Paradice was unbelievable! we smoked chicken on the smoke pit and had a wonderful meal by the pool and it was so amazing.I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO VISIT IF ITS NOT BOOKED

We had a great time during our stay! The pool was a highlight, although the net used to clean it could use replacing. The grill was quite dirty—either a new one is needed or it should be thoroughly cleaned between guests. The home could benefit from a few small updates, especially in the kitchen. It wasn’t well stocked—no knives, cutting boards, or other basic cooking items. With a few improvements, this place could be even better. Overall, we enjoyed our time!

Great house just missing the fourth bedrm

Overall very good place would recommend to friends and family. Only problem was they said it was a four bedroom house, which there is except the fourth bedroom was the swimming pool room that was being renovated. So technically your paying for a room that isn't completed. But overall a very nice place! Would stay again!

Heated pool

This was a great place to stay with my family. There were 8 of us altogether. Beds are comfortable. Definitely could use an actual real knife and cutting board instead of a small pairing knife or steak knife. The heated pool area is a fun and relaxing area. Yes there are mosquitoes as this is a wet environment and they thrive on that fact so just bring some bug stray and/or spray a mosquito fogger around the pool area and you'll be fine. Overall we all really enjoyed our stay!!! Until next time!

There were a few issues with the property that could not be fixed in time. When I let the management company know they kindly put us in another propert, that was above and beyond our expectations.

The beds were dirty from the previous stay and it appeared that one bathroom hadnt been cleaned. I called the management company and, to their credit, they gave us access to a unit down the street which would allow us to still use the pool at this unit. The other unit was infested with roaches, the hvac system wasnt working and there were fish carcasses all over the deck...by the time we are in there its later at night so we stayed there, i texted the management company the next morning that i would clean the original rental unit and asked them not to send anyone...so we could enjoy some of the weekend, to which they replied they had a crew scheduled and had to clean the place themselves. So we dealt with a management company that just couldnt get anything right even the bare minimum and it was a waste of time and money. I wouldnt stay at these units for free.

DIRTY!

This place is definitely not a place for 10 as advertised two of us had to sleep in chairs. It is in a nice area but the house itself is not kept up. There was a musty nasty smell. Bathrooms are full of mold and falling apart. The kitchen was nasty we did not want to use any thing in there. Y'all should check the drawers, yuck! Pool was not clean we had to ask. Outdoor shower does not work.

Mosquitoes from hell dirty walls and floors

Have stayed many times in Corpus and Port A , never had a bad experience as this. Overall stay was not very pleasant. Did not receive check in process and code until I called to inquire how we unlock door. As we entered, walls and floors were dirty, so bad walking barefoot for 2 mins our feet were black. The whole reason we booked this room was for the time to spend with family with our own private pool! Tried to spend some time outside at the pool the mosquitos were a nuisance. Even with bugs spray they would not go away! And when they bit it would sting so bad , all of us have large welts. So, we had no other choice but to stay indoors in the evening. Need to book a trip here in August and will not book here ever again .

NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ASTHMA

Description says sleeps 10 wrong sleeps only 6 in beds and possibly 8 in sofas. Walked in and the moment you open the door it smells HORRIBLE so much like mildew especially in the kitchen I looked around and notice mold under the sink and other cabinets. Chest start to hurt messaged the host with no response whatsoever oh but when I tried to change dates due to the recent hurricane Alberto they reply right away. The beds sheets in all bedrooms where stained had to wash them that same night. Beds are worn out. There is an outdoor shower which didn’t work, my kids wanted to swim at night however the pool lights didn’t work and the pool had stuff in it tried to find the net to clean it out and there was nothing had to use a shirt to clean some of it out. Over all I did not like this place and for the price they charged I expected better therefore I will not be returning and hopefully my chest pain goes away without me having to take myself or kids to the doctors due to our asthma. Disappointed!!!!!

Girls weekend

I will preface this review with the fact that our group organized this trip on short notice so consequently, most of the places that I would normally stay in Port Aransas were booked. There were five adult women in our party. Some of the other reviews mentioned that this place needs a little love and it definitely does. It is over priced for what we got. It does not sleep eight adults. As mentioned in the earlier reviews, two people cannot shower at a time. The only communication I had with the host was an emailed form letter in response to specific questions, and I was sent the same form letter twice. There’s no counter space in the bathrooms, the only mirrors are in each of the bathrooms, and they are small. The shower in the master bathroom is draining slow and there was a problem with the toilet not refilling in the master bathroom .This would be a perfect house for a family of four or five. Definitely not worth what we were charged. I LOVE Port A and would have a house there if I could. After Harvey I have contributed to various funds and want to support the PA community in every way. The attribute that drew us to this house in the first place was the pool, and that was nice. Overall however, I would not recommend this house or stay there again.

Great get away with friends

Very nice place to stay, we really enjoyed the private pool! Due to the rain, the covered parking spots were great for all of us to get under and stay dry but still visit and have a great time! Will definitely stay again!

Home just seemed like theres no attention being payed to it

Overall, we did enjoy the rental location. However, there were and are some inconveniences for our stay. 3 out of 4 days that we were here we did not have water or very little pressure in our bathrooms. The toilets at times were not able to be flushed. The vents were very dirty and just knowing that's what we were breathing in the entire time was very unsafe. Our son has asthma and was coughing and sneezing the entire time and had to do a few breathing treatments during our stay. Same with the light fixtures. Very dusty and you could see the dust caked on them. There are many drawers broke in the kitchen and one of the bedroom accordion doors kept falling off the track while our parents were using to go in and out of their room. Our kids also witnessed the argument from the neighbors and one of the gentleman slapping a woman. We do not display this behavior in front our kids so they were very upset from watching this on our first day. There were a lot of roaches and an unknown substance found on the ground in outside bathroom. We did leave it there because we did not know what it was so we were able to keep the kids out of there. We will like to know what actions will be taken to take care of these inconveniences Thank you

On the surface clean upkept..however as a rental i suggest use bleach or disinfectants

Very spacious overall clean with amenities in the house. However the bathrooms smelled like urine I brought clorox wipes and cleaned. The BBQ pit in the back is trash I would toss it. The plumbing leaked under the house and water pressure was weak. The pool looked great but to cold to swim. Overall our family time was great i wish owners wod invest some of the rental money back into the property.

Perfect house in the perfect place at the perfect time.

Other than the check-in information not attaching to the initial e-mail, everything about the rental was fabulous. Clean house, tucked away from the 'busy' parts of town, gorgeous view of the sunset, nice pool. Something pleasantly not mentioned in the property description is that the two couches in the living room are full sized pull-outs (just in case)...

Good property

It was really good overall, wonderful pool, clean house, sterilized, nice room size and beds. The stove worked and refrigerator was nice and cold. The bathrooms had travel sized items that were nice and a working blow dryer saved the day. I forgot mine. :) The things to improve on… water pressure was really low and you couldn’t take showers in both bathrooms at same time, the pool guy came by while we were there in the pool, and asked us to leave the water on to raise the water level. By doing that you couldn’t flush the toilets inside and also, why am I leaving the water on for the pool guy? Couldn’t they have come on a day where no one was there? Also, the landscaping people came and were mowing the lawn… couldn’t they do this when no one was at the rental? Thankfully they didn’t come to the back yard where we were relaxing. Also, we would have liked to wash and dry our wet clothes but the dryer did not work. Overall, we had a good time air conditioning was working really well. Which is a huge plus.
