We had an amazing stay at this beach house. The home beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The outdoor spaces were perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze.The location couldn’t have been better—just a short drive to the beach and close to restaurants and shops.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at your beautiful beach house. Perfect location, easy walk to the beach, clean private pool, house was clean, great area for hanging outside and on the screen porch. Plenty of space for your family to sleep, extra blankets, and pool towels. Used the beach gear and didn't have to pack as much. We enjoyed refreshing showers outside too! The kitchen was fully stocked, had plenty of keurig supplies to get us going in the morning! Quick responses from the owner was much appreciated! We will definitely be back again. Thanks so much!

We had four families of various sizes staying here for a total of 9 people. We all had space to do our own thing without being crowded. The charm of this little gem of a place is the pool and porch areas where you can eat and visit without going inside. A BBQ pit was provided which was nice as we enjoyed some great BBQ during our stay. We all enjoyed the pool and its a short walk to the beach. And when you return from the beach, the outdoor showers help get all that sand off of you and back on the ground. We highly recommend this roomy home for your next beach stay.

Highly Recommend kid and pet friendly. You won't be disappointed one bit. Super close drive up to the beach. The house is very clean and kept nicely. We are already talking about our next trip back.

We love this property!!

We've been renting houses in Port Aransas for many years and this one is by far our favorite. We will definitely be back! It was the cutest house had every amenity and super close to the beach. We loved the private fenced in pool and the awesome porch. Our kids slept in the loft and loved it! Even though they had a bed downstairs they could have used :-) perfect stay! Wish I could live in that house forever :-) thank you!

Wonderful stay!

We loved the place! There are so many amenities. We had everything we needed and more. Lots of conveniences like a private outdoor shower, plenty of parking, comfortable beds and new washer and dryer. Walking distance to the beach was nice. Very clean and I loved the beach decor everywhere! Looking forward to going back!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

This is our second time staying, the host always have all that we need to feel at home and enjoy our stay. The location is great as we can just load up the wagon and walk to the beach for a few hours. They have outdoor shower to clean off from the beach and spray your beach toys/ chairs down. Well supplied kitchen, plenty of beds for everyone and the screened in porch made it nice to still enjoy being outside even in the rainy mornings.

Charming Cottage near the beach!

Everything about the cottage was perfect. The attention to the small details makes this a perfect place to settle in. Close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. We loved it and hope to come back!

Amazing Space

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this home. It's a block from the beach and easy access to town. The private pool is refreshing and clean. We loved the layout of the home and had plenty of room to lounge and play games at night and enjoy meals in the kitchen area. Bonus that my dog could come and feel welcomed too with a backyard and a daily beach walk. We will be back!

Bachelorette/ bachelor weekend

Place was very spacious! A little run down but nothing major. Only issue was no long mirrors for us girls to see what we looked like. Lol! There for bachelorette/ bachelor weekend, so we went out a lot and couldn’t see our entire outfit! Would definitely recommend place and will definitely stay there again. Private pool was great to relax and beach not even a mile away!!

The best hidden gem in Port A!

When looking for a place to stay I look for pet friendly, private pool, and washer/dryer. This house checked those boxes and so much more! The architecture is quirky and cool with plenty of room for family and friends. And the location is awesome. The pictures kinda make it look further away from the beach but the walk is super short. There is also open lots/areas on either side of the house but it does back up to a 2/3 story but they can only look into the back yard of the house which was the perfect place for the dogs to do their business. They even have a poop scoop to use! And what's nice is there's minimal stairs for people or pets with back issues, etc. There are only 2 bathrooms but the outdoor showers were perfect since there was hot and cold water and they are enclosed. Lots of little touches like double monitors if you needed to hook up and work, filtered water at the sink, and the best organized laundry room with marked tubs. And to say the house is well stocked is no joke! I'm always bringing extra stuff and not once did I need anything extra I brought! I could go on and on but don't hesitate to book this property. And to top it off...the hosts couldn't be nicer! Can't wait to stay again!!!

We grew up in Austin Tx and have been visiting Port Aransas all our lives. Kevin is a Realtor in Austin and is an an avid investor/renovator. Kate works in the mortgage business and has a great eye for design and amateur photographer. We have 2 wonderful daughters, Ava and Morgan.

Why they chose this property

Its been on both of our bucket lists to own a property in port Aransas. We rented a house around the corner with some friends for our 10th Anniversary. After going by the property several times on the way to the beach we decided to investigate it and the opportunity presented itself for us to purchase the property from the estate. It needed a lot of work but with our vision and a unique skillset for renovating property we were able to make this home amazing.

What makes this property unique

You can literally walk out the front door and take the sidewalk a block down to the beach. If you have rolling wagons ect... its so easy to get down there. No need to deal with a beach walk over. The property sits low so its easy to get in and out of or carry your gear, coolers, and stuff in to the house without having to go up a flight of stairs. The porch in the front is such an awesome hang out spot. I love to sit there and watch folks walk by and drive by on the golf carts ect.... The pool out front is perfect for hanging out with seating on one end for the adults and the other end for the kids to play. We went the extra mile with the beds. They are super comfortable. Its awesome to wake up in any of the rooms with the high peak ceilings with rafters. Such a unique place.
