The house was great and we really enjoyed our short stay, but unfortunately the listing photos are a little out of date because the mountain view was mostly obstructed. A little trimming and it would be 10/10!

Thank you for staying with us at The Hideaway and for your recommendation for trimming the trees. We look forward to welcoming you again in the near future.
Enjoyed a quick family get away with our young adult aged children. House was perfect for family time - great kitchen , large table for games, hot tub, table shuffle board and pet friendly. Highly recommend and hope to book again in the future

Excellent views, ample room, all the amenities-had a great time and look forward to coming back!
Just about at the tippy top of that moutnain ridge, made it up in 2wd truck no problem, nicely paved road all the way to the house.
Property is even better than pictures. Great outdoor space, clean, and picturesque. We had a wonderful long weekend exploring the neighborhood and visiting downtown BR.

Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope to host you again soon!
Overall it was a great stay. Everything was very clean. The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars was because the pictures showed plenty of firewood but when we arrived, there wasn’t any. I had plenty of firewood I would have brought from home but had to go out and buy some.

Thank you for staying with us at The Hideaway and for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize that there was no firewood available for the downstairs fireplace. If you had contacted us, we would have been happy to provide it for you. In the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out if this happens again. We hope you’ll give us another opportunity to provide you with a wonderful stay.
This cabin exceeded our expectations for a family with young children. The kitchen was well equipped, and the grill was easy to use. It’s a short, easy drive to downtown and felt very safe and quiet. The only downside was that the outdoor fireplace didn’t work and we were notified three days before arrival but management made it right. The deck is amazing, and it would have been nice to enjoy a fire out there.Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would still give it 5 stars.

Thank you for staying with us at The Hideaway and for taking the time to share your review. We apologize that the fireplace was inoperable during your stay, and we’re glad everything else made for an enjoyable stay. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with an outstanding stay in the future.
house was great for a long weekend. plenty of room for two families. kids loved the hot tub and playing out in the driveway and on the porch. about a 10-15 min drive to downtown, but an easy driveway. lots if tvs and great porch to watch football.
only downfall-we were not able to use inside fireplaces. when we turned them on the house immediately smelled like gas/burning. but the wood burning fireplace outside was great!

Thank you for your kind and honest review, it is very much appreciated. We look forward to having you visit again soon in Blue Ridge.
House is gorgeous and makes you feel like you’re in your own little world! Location was close to activities and stores. Management company were great and very accommodating and responsive. The only complaint we could have was cleanliness…people are definitely not washing some of the kitchen items when they put them away and someone had a dog there that used the deck as a bathroom and it wasn’t cleaned up. We would still stay there again and would just make sure to check everything g more thoroughly.
