After a great day of hiking in the Chugach State park or exploring the many other scenic experiences near by, guests will enjoy ocean views from high above Cook Inlet and beyond to the Alaska Range and Denali. On a cold winter's night, guests might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Once inside the clean and comfortable apartment, guests will find a kitchen where they may prepare meals, a comfortable living area where they can relax , wash clothes in the washer and dryer and sleep in a queen sized bed.

Jenny and Todd were excellent hosts. The property was magical, and our family thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The apartment is in the perfect location, with easy access to Eagle River and Anchorage, yet in a wonderful natural, secluded setting. We'd definitely stay at the Peaceful Mountain Retreat on our next visit. The best sunsets ever!

Newly renovated downstairs area, with seperate entrance & parking from upper area. The owners travel often, so we sadly didnt even get to meet them on our week long stay.The main windows are big & let in plenty of natural light. Fully functional kitchen, shower, & laundry. Overall Excellent setup.

This Chugiak apartment was a perfect location for my husband and me! Close to Anchorage to catch a float plane, go to museums, and meet friends for dinner & close to Chugach State Park for hiking and exploring.But most importantly, after each adventure-filled day, it was a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a beautiful view of the Cook Inlet. Host Jenny was outstanding both with communication and making us feel welcome! She left a vase of fresh flowers on the entry table and sent a text to make sure we'd found the key and gotten settled. She also provided information about local restaurants and activities. We appreciate Jenny and Todd sharing their corner of the world with us.

20th Anniversary Trip

The cabin was cozy, clean and centrally located - within a 3-4 hour drive of Seward, Denali and Homer, 35 minutes from Anchorage. The hosts were nice people, offering suggestions on food and activities. The view of Mirror Lake was spectacular, especially at sunset.

This charming apartment was such a wonderful surprise. It is nestled high up in the hills close to hiking trails but also a quick drive to restaurants. It was so cozy we settled in on rainy morning hanging out. Jenny was incredibly attentive and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this as a fabulous place to stay.

Awesome time
