Ranger's Roost, a dog-friendly chalet. Enjoy luxurious linens, queen bed and wake up nestled in the mountain valley of Eklutna. The kitchenette is stocked with all the basics: k-cup coffee maker, 2 burner stove, sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and all the cooking tools to prepare your meals. The bathroom includes a shower and soaking tub for your enjoyment as you relax on the north edge of Anchorage and unplug from the busy world. No screens are provided, but a Wi-Fi cloud covers the entire property to keep you as connected as you want to be.

Wonderful Getaway

My spouse and I wanted a little, pet-friendly getaway for a night and this was perfect! Such a cute place in a great location for our hike the next day.

Why they chose this property

Eklutna is a short drive from Anch and is the fastest way into nature while never leaving Anchorage. Quiet and relaxing, but only 2 miles from all the action at Eklutna Lake we love to explore the surrounding mountains than retreat to a hot soaking tub to relax. A one hour from the airport gets you straight into the Eklutna valley & mountains.

What makes this property unique

Luxury linens, dark skies, peaceful quiet. All the amenities you rely on: running water, indoor plumbing, fire pit and sauna, all nestled into a park-like setting. Each cabin is tucked into the woods designed for a private nature experience at BlueWater BaseCamp.
