Serene and cozy Ozark home - 3 mins to Alley Spring and the Jack's Fork river!
DarLyn's Retreat is located at the southeast intersection of Hwy 106 and State Rte E. Adjacent to the Ozark National Scenic Riverway Park, it is 2 miles east of Alley Spring and 4 mi west of Eminence. You'll be very close to outfitters supporting the Jack's Fork River and all the fun that can be had--they'll even pick you up right from the house!
The 800 sq ft main level of the house is available with 1BR and 1BA. It can support up to 4 guests with a King bed in the main bedroom and an upscale, self-inflating queen BeautyRest mattress in the Living Room. The large kitchen and dining room are stocked with utensils and dishes. Additionally, a large grill on the oversized back deck with seating affords a perfect BBQ setting. It's also the perfect spot for a quiet cup of coffee in the morning.
We have a huge backyard that is perfect for outdoor games and activities. For the campfire, you may use the firewood nearby, if available. It can also be purchased across the street. At night, the stars are bright and the setting is beautiful for lawn chairs around the fire (4 provided).

We love the Ozarks and the Ozark National Scenic Riverways area. It's so beautiful and there is plenty to do year-round. We especially love hiking, kayaking and fishing in and around Alley Spring and the Jack's Fork River! We like the outdoors but our home has excellent amenities for indoor activities as well.
We have enjoyed hosting for more than a year now and enjoy the reviews left by guests highlighting the same features and amenities we love!

It's beautiful and has easy access to Alley Spring and Eminence.
What makes this property unique
This house is situated on 20 acres and while bordered by Highway E and Highway 106, we are relatively secluded. In essence, we have privacy most of the time but also conveniently located to get to recreational areas or town for groceries, food, gas, etc.
As of Aug 2024, only the upstairs is available. However, the basement remodel is coming along nicely and will soon add 2 additional BR, a full bath, kitchenette, Living Room and a bar! The entire house has an Ozark country appeal! We should be able to host groups of 8-10 when complete.
