Was a lovely apartment situated between a park and old town. Fantastic location. Literally a 2 min walk to the square in old town where they held the market.

Geräumige Wohnung in wirklich sehr guter Lage unmittelbar am Rande der Altstadt. Kann mit dem Auto angefahren werden, da sie an der Ringstraße um die Altstadt liegt, dadurch etwas Verkehrslärm. Im Gegensatz zur Beschreibung verfügt die Wohnung über keinen eigenen Parkplatz, kostenpflichtige Parkplätze auf der Straße und Parkhäuser in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung liegt im 4. Stock mit Aufzug eines etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Hauses und ist ziemlich abgewohnt. Sie hat einen schönen großen Balkon mit Blick auf die Baumkronen. Für eine Ferienwohnung außergewöhnlich große und gut ausgestattete Küche, in der es allerdings ein Feuchtigkeitsproblem zu geben scheint, was zu einem sehr unangenehmen Geruch führt. Das Bad ist offen und mitten zwischen den Schlafgelegenheiten, es gibt also keine Privatsphäre. Die Vermieterin, die eineinhalb Stunden entfernt wohnt, hat einen großen Ordner mit ausführlichen Anweisungen im Kommandoton ausschließlich auf Französisch hinterlassen und die Wohnung was Wäsche etc. angeht mit dem absoluten Minimum ausgestattet. Man fühlt sich nicht unbedingt als Gast willkommen geheißen.

Je vous remercie d’avoir pris le temps de partager votre avis.
Je souhaite apporter quelques précisions concernant votre séjour. L’annonce mentionne clairement que le logement ne dispose pas de parking privatif. Des places de stationnement payantes ainsi que des parkings publics sont effectivement disponibles à proximité immédiate.
Concernant le linge de toilette, celui-ci était prévu pour deux personnes, conformément à votre réservation initiale. Une troisième personne s’est ajoutée à votre arrivée, information dont j’ai été informée tardivement, vers 19h. Résidant à une heure et demie du logement, je n’étais malheureusement pas en mesure de me déplacer à 20h pour fournir du linge supplémentaire. Je vous remercie pour votre compréhension sur ce point.
S’agissant de l’odeur d’humidité évoquée, l’appartement a été entièrement rénové en 2017. Je suis néanmoins attentive à votre remarque et je vais vérifier ce point afin de m’assurer du confort optimal des prochains voyageurs.
Je suis sincèrement désolée si vous avez ressenti un manque d’accueil. Ce n’était absolument pas mon intention. Vous étiez les bienvenus, et vous le serez de nouveau avec plaisir si vous souhaitez revenir.

We really enjoyed the convenient location, within a quick walk to the market and restaurants in old Aix. The apartment is well set up, the furnishings are attractive and comfortable. It was great having an elevator. The shower and sink area is very modern and nice. We hope to stay here again, but without a car, as the pay parking is several blocks away. It’s right by a bus stop and easy for a taxi drop-off.
