the exalent place for romantic vacation

The apartment was very clean ,fully equipped and place in the one of the most nicer villages in the area. 5 minutes driving to the center of Colmar ,you can find small supermarket and nice bakery in the village by 2 minutes waking. We fill after coming home that it was one of the most romantic vacation we have 'we will come back some day. it's not common to find 5 good restaurants in this village Best Regards Michal & Kobi

Better than Expected!

This cute apartment is very well taken care of. Everything was really clean and the furniture is new. All the appliances are new and functioned perfectly. There's a laundry room in the basement for the guest's use, which really came in handy. The hosts were so sweet and very helpful during our stay. The apartment is located on one of the cutest streets in this perfect little town. The lady at the tourist office was also extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Eguisheim!! I highly recommend this apartment.

The host's father met us at the apartment to handover keys and to give us a brief overview of where to find things. Despite his lack of English and our lack of French we managed to communicate very well.Our host very kindly allowed us to checkin prior to the normal checkin time which was most appreciated.The apartment itself was very well located in centre of old town so made it easy to walk to different market stalls and restuarants.The apartment is located on the first floor accessed by stairs only. The one bedroom apartment was roomy with a well equipped kitchen which made it easy to prepare our own meals. We did not need parking but if you need there is a public car park area approx 200m walk.Our only negative comment would be the bed which was not so comfortable due to thin mattress and a couple of slats would slip out and it was not possible to always keep them in place.In conclusion, we have no hesitation recommending this property both the apartment and host were great.

A very nice location (except for parking- though public parking doable) Unfortunately communication with owner was difficult as everything they wrote was in French- so some confusion as to their expectations for our responsibilities. Would be great if Vrbo could provide a translation service. Also, your age bracket is very broad with only having adults 18+. Senior citizens might have a separate category as their needs might be different.

Insgesamt Klasse!!! Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Vermieter. Schön renovierte Wohnung; Aufteilung der Räume sehr gut. Ausstattung zur vollsten Zufriedenheit! Wunderbar im Zentrum des Städtchens. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: keine Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Haus, sondern zirka 150 Meter entfernt; dort z. T. manchmal schwierig, einen Parkplatz zu bekommen. (Aber das wäre Meckern auf hohem Niveau).

Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans cet appartement très propre et calme le soir. cette appartement est proche de toutes les villes à visiter nous avons été en Allemagne aussi. il faut absolument découvrir l'Alsace c'est magnifique et ces fleurs une beauté. Et MR LACH nous a tout expliqué avec sa gentillesse. je recommande vivement cet appartement.

marchés de Noel en Alsace

nous avons passé notre séjour à visiter les principaux marchés de noël de Strasbourg à Colmar et ses environs. le gite est très bien placé pour cela. petits bémols:-grosses difficultés pour garer l'auto, parkings payants pas forcément disponibles à toutes heures.le péage parking commence à 9h, impossible d'y aller le matin aussi tôt, le bon sens est de démarrer à 10h pour ne pas stresser les visiteurs il semble possible de se garer dans le bourg près du gite sous condition d'avoir un macaron visiteur, ce qui n'est pas signalé par le propriétaire,-literie à revoir, matelas trop fin, 2 lattes cassées changées immédiatement par le propriétaire.canapé également à changer , le propriétaire attend la livraison pour les changer tous dans ses gites.

Wunderbare Tage in Eguisheim

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, alles was man benötigt ist da, sehr sauber. Nur das Bett ist etwas härtlich für ältere Semester ;) In der Altstadt gelegen, kommt man überall gut zu Fuß hin. Und für Touren in die Umgebung, in die Vorgens oder nach Colmar ist die Lage auch ideal.
