This VRBO offered a private and quiet location in a rural setting. It was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the private deck and hot tub. We used the hot tub every night of our stay!I would 100% stay here again!!!

This place is adorable and quaint. Hot tub was a bonus that we needed at the tail end of our road trip. Clean, easy access, and pet friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer because the area is beautiful, the property is beautiful and we were very comfy there. You won’t be disappointed.

I loved getting away from it all and my fiancé and I really enjoyed the wildlife, privacy and comfort of this beautiful cottage. We will return soon when we need a break from reality that is a short drive away. Genny the host is extremely good with her communication and I strongly recommend this pleasant and quiet retreat.

The home was cute and situated in a beautiful location, but unfortunately, we experienced several significant issues during our stay that impacted our overall experience. The most concerning issue was the presence of eight powerful plug-in air fresheners throughout the small house. The synthetic fragrance was overwhelmingly strong and made the space uncomfortable to be in. For one of our guests who is undergoing treatment for lung cancer, the intense fragrance triggered a panic attack. This was especially upsetting and entirely avoidable. In addition, the living room light switch and fan switch were not working, and the fan in the bathroom was also nonfunctional. We had hoped for a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially given the significance of our trip to remember our mother passing. While the location and charm of the home were appealing, these issues made our experience disappointing. We hope the owners will address these concerns for future guests, particularly by removing the excessive artificial fragrances and ensuring that all fixtures are in working order.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased that you appreciated the charm of our home and its beautiful location. We are sincerely sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially during such a meaningful time for your family. When you brought your concerns regarding the air fresheners to our attention, we promptly responded and offered you the opportunity to leave the property with a refund, as we never want our guests to feel uncomfortable\. You declined that offer and chose to continue your stay, which we completely respected. The air fresheners were placed in the home with the intention of creating a welcoming environment, never to cause discomfort. We understand that fragrance sensitivities vary and will take your feedback into consideration. We had NO way of knowing someone in your party had cancer. We absolutely were fine with you removing the air fresheners which we conveyed to you. My husband switched the AC unit to recirculate which you responded the next morning that his efforts helped and you would be staying. We also appreciate your comments regarding the switches and fans and will have those items inspected. We take great pride in our home and in being attentive, accommodating hosts. While we regret that your experience was not what you had hoped, we made every effort to address your concerns and provide a reasonable resolution during your stay. Just a suggestion, an immediate notification to homeowners of a broken item …Framed print in bathroom lying on tile, would have been appreciated. Not to mention, asking said homeowners for extra clean towels instead of going through our private stored bins would have also been extremely appreciated. We wish you and your family all the best
