If you are looking for a private waterfront getaway, this is the perfect place. We were able to fish and swim from the dock. We used the ramp at the house to put our Jet Ski in and ride all day with very little boat traffic. The host was very responsive and set us up with a sunset cruise boat charter that was amazing. Our dogs loved swimming in the water and playing in the yard. The area is a sportsman's paradise with WMAs and great fishing/crabbing. The area is rural so expect to drive 15-35 minutes to stores and restaurants (Mayo's had great local seafood in a casual setting). This was a great place to have a quiet family vacation.
Beautiful home, beautiful location. Fishing from the dock was fabulous. The deck was a great place for morning coffee and to enjoy watching boats and dolphins.
We had a lovely time at Melissa's. The property is beautiful and the house is great for a group of people and dogs. My two newfs were in heaven with the water access and dock - they weren't interested in going for walks because the property is so great. The kitchen is very well appointed (great blender, lots of pots and pans, etc.). We look forward to visiting again!
My family had a wonderful stay at the SeaMore over Labor Day weekend. The home is well-appointed, and the thoughtful, accommodating, communicative owner left touches that left us wanting for nothing. Fishing was excellent from the kayaks and the dock, and dolphins visited us each morning – even swimming right under us and jumping out of the water for our entertainment! Large private yard, plenty of parking, and a peaceful neighborhood. We absolutely loved it and will not hesitate to book again.
This is a nice, quiet location. We fished, canoed, saw dolphins and eagles. Laying in the hammock was so relaxing. Melissa is so easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Short drive to stores if you need to. Day trip to Emerald Isle and to see Fort Macon was fun.Freash seafood at Pamlico Packing Company and Frank and Shirley's restaurant are nice places to go to.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The views are amazing and it was the perfect place to relax. The decor is tasteful, the home very comfortable, and Melissa was very attentive and responsive. We had one issue upon check in but Melissa was quick to respond and resolve it. We definitely want to return and would recommend this property for your next vacation! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we enjoyed making new family memories!

Another awesome Aurora trip at Sea More is in the book!
This is our Family’s 2nd time staying at Melissa’s amazing home!
We celebrated my Husband’s 54th Birthday and our youngest Son’s Senior ECU Fall Break.
We had fantastic weather compared to our first trip here, so we were able to enjoy the outside a lot more.
We rode our Sea-Doo and caught several different types of fish and blue crabs from the pier. We played soccer, badminton, and frisbee, and we hung out at the fire pit. We saw dolphins several times as well, which was amazing!
We can’t wait to “Sea More” on our next trip!
Thank You, Melissa and Girls!

The home and location where wonderful. Great, quiet relaxing spot. Beautiful surroundings. On arrival, we found the propery to have a very strong and harsh chemnical smell, like mothballs or varnish. We let the owner know and were told it was from cleaning, and to open the windows. (It was in the low 90's outside!! We could not swim as there was no ladder on the dock to enable us to climb out of the water and the boat launch area is rocky and slick so we did not venture out that way. The sitting area at the end of the dock was covered with bird droppings so was not an inviting spot to sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed our stay, but would not return to this home.
Me and my wife and our GSD had a great long weekend! Caught plenty of fish off the dock and was able to get away and relax! The only thing I would recommend for anyone going is to bring some bug spray as when in the yard the mosquitos were pretty bad. Nothing a quick spray didn’t fix. The house was clean and had all the stuff you need! Would definitely stay again! The host was easy to reach and super nice!
We had such a fantastic time at this property. The home is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and in a perfect location right on the water. We especially loved the peace and quiet… it was ideal for unwinding. The sunrises over the sound were breathtaking every single morning, and having direct dock access made fishing convenient and fun (we were out there almost the entire visit!).The board games provided great evening entertainment for the family, and the kitchen and living areas were well-equipped for cooking and relaxing. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. We truly hated to leave and would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you for creating such a special place!Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront escape. For my fellow fishermen/women: we caught pinfish, croakers, seatrout, and big stingrays. Bring your cast net for all the bait you could need! Also grab some bug spray for the mosquitos that inevitably show up to annoy the heck out of you!If you happen to be traveling at Fourth of July… you are in for a treat! A neighboring home put on one of the biggest private fireworks displays I’ve ever seen!
Wonderful, private retreat. Stunning sunrise and sunset views. Melissa was fantastic and exceeded host expectations. Property was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a great vacation at Seamore. Loved the dock. Great fishing and amazing views. Melissa is very attentive and helpful with any questions. We looked forward to staying there again.
We had a wonderful time at the Seamore. The property was beautiful, just as described. We were lucky that the weather was perfect for all 5 days. Very secluded, great for the dog. Melissa is very communicative and reached out to make sure all was well. Any questions were answered immediately. I took my 16 ft. fishing boat with me and the ramp and boat lift worked great. If you have a boat, this is a perfect rental location. The dock was great for fishing and swimming as well.
We caught drum and flounder on this trip. The view from the deck is awesome! For an inshore fishing vacation, this is an outstanding property.
Great location and great house to stay at.. We fish this area every year a few times.. So this was a great location for that.. Melissa is very attentive and helpful with any questions... Will absolutely stay here again and if you're considering just make the reservation and enjoy...
Plenty of room for all to be comfortable, Kids, grandparents, and parents. The sunrise and coffee were the best. Kitchen loaded with everything needed for cooking. The covered dock got plenty of use along with water toys. Melissa was helpful answering any question. Great place for getaway on the water with great views.
Our friends and I are all enjoyed stay at Seamore, we saw dolphins , we Caught crabs and fishes , we Watched the sunrise from the deck ,We had a relaxing time together , this is Wonderful place for weekend getaway And vacation.
To start! Melissa is the absolute best! I felt completely prepared for this vacation because of her. She gave me as much information before we arrived as she could and that made a world of difference! We got to see dolphins almost everyday. Our goal with this vacation was a nice relaxing but fun getaway. Melissa's exceeded all our expectations and more! The view is breathtaking! The house is beautiful and clean! The weather was absolutely gorgeous! We can't wait to come back! Seriously, book with Melissa because you won't be disappointed! Thank you again Melissa!
Wanted somewhere we could just relax since this was first Vacation in 2 yrs. Sea More was it. Great dock to fish, relax and watch the kids play in the water. Our family of 7 had 3 teenagers and they stayed content the whole time. House was roomy enough, however you do have shared bathrooms between all bedrooms but we made it work. Any questions we had Melissa answered quickly. Thank you for sharing your home!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at SeaMore. The weather was beautiful and the peacefulness could not have been better. We enjoyed time out on the dock fishing, reading and just talking. Just being able to sit out on the dock and hear nothing but the fish pop out of the water or the dolphins playing around, was very relaxing. The house was great and we had plenty of room. We spent evenings in the living area catching up on Stranger Things and a few other Netflix and Hulu shows together. The area around the house was quiet and peaceful. You could barely hear the fishermen talking and when the barges went by, it was an enjoyable sound. If you want a quiet and peaceful vacation where it seems time just slows down, then SeaMore is definitely a place to stay for a week or more. Melissa was a gracious host and made sure everything was just right for us. We have never met, but our family made a new friend. Thank you again for a much needed vacation. The Ammons Crew
We had such a nice time here. I went with my husband and our dog. We often have a hard time finding places due to our dog having anxiety around other dogs/kids. This was the perfect choice since it was remote and quiet with no other people or dogs around. She also loved the ramp into the water and couldn’t wait every day for us to take her down there to play and explore. We also loved swinging in the hammock, floating in the inner tubes, canoeing, grilling, riding bikes down the peaceful gravel paths, relaxing inside and looking out at the water, and admiring the wildlife: dolphins, crabs, rabbits, fish, and more. Amenities were comfortable and clean. Melissa went above and beyond to make sure we got in ok and were having a nice time which was much appreciated. Small questions I had were answered quickly. If you book in the summertime, make sure you have a plan to combat the mosquitos (coils and repellent were provided which was nice). Otherwise this was probably one of the most relaxing and enjoyable places we have ever stayed at.
