Free EV Charging, Private Garage for Gear Storage
In-town apartment located in a charming Old Mammoth Lakes property. Private garage has free level 2 EV charging (NEMA 14-50 outlet only) & gear storage.
You will love the open floor plan living space with kitchen & full bathroom.
The bus stop is a few steps away & provides easy access to the mountain & town. Walking distance to restaurants & shops.
*Summer months- portable a/c is in bedroom only, fans provided for other room*
You will enter the apartment into a great room that comfortably combines the living and kitchen spaces into one open living experience. A wall of windows makes the space open and bright.
The kitchen includes a microwave, 2- burner cook top, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle and a full array of utensils, dishes, pot and pans, etc so you have all you need to cook meals. The dining table allows for comfortable food serving and eating space.
The bathroom is off the great room and includes a tub/shower combo so you can soak your weary muscles after a long day on the mountain or can use it for a child’s bath before bedtime
For your comfort, the bedroom has a queen size Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress and the sofa bed has a queen-sized Ashley Furniture quality memory foam mattress. Additionally, every window in the apartment is dressed with Eclipse Absolute Zero blackout curtains which will assist with getting a great night’s sleep.
During the winter if you are lucky enough to get a lot of snow, you might hear snow plows clearing the roads and driveways. Each bedroom has has been equipped with a sleeping sound machine, if needed, for light sleepers.
The apartment offers high speed wifi and is equipped with a SmartTV for streaming movies and tv shows. We generally have fast, reliable internet, but can’t guarantee there will be no interruptions
The apartment is child friendly. Pets not allowed. Only 2 small to medium sized cars/trucks maximum. Garage height is 6`8` In the winter due to snow accumulation at the entrance, height might be slightly less. No extra parking available. Gear storage is available in the garage. The level 2 EV outlet is NEMA 14-50 (adaptors and charging cables are not provided).
In winter, the driveway is plowed consistently during storms, however, due to variable factors such as high snow accumulation per hour during some storms we cannot guarantee that every model of car will be able to access the garage without some snow removal.

We are available via call/text to assist with any questions/concerns or to give recommendations of things to do and places to go.
The apartment is located in downtown Mammoth Lakes. A shuttle stop (FREE) is located less than a minutes walk. You can be to the Main Lodge at Mammoth Mountain in 15 min and avoid a parking headache at the ski resort. Additionally, you can take the shuttle to any place in town and even up to Lakes Basin Loop.
Many restaurants are within a 5 min walk, including The Warming Hut which is adjacent to the property.
There are 2 grocery stores and a pharmacy within a 5-10 min walk.
You can easily access the free shuttles. The nearest stop is less than a minutes walk from the apartment. Free shuttles run year around throughout town and to all the ski mountain lodges. You can also access the Lakes Basin and The Village easily on the shuttle.
During winter, the driveway is snowplowed often throughout the day to ensure access to the apartment & slopes.
Snow and storms are part of our mountain weather which gives us great skiing. It is important to be prepared with chains, etc. Refunds will not be given due to chain control or temporary road closures. If you are concerned about weather, we recommend you purchase applicable travel insurance.
In summer, like most homes in the mountains, there is no central a/c. Even on the hottest days, it cools down significantly in the evening. Windows can be opened for a nice breeze & fans are provided.
We do our best to keep our place clear of insects and critters such as ants, moths, etc but we are surrounded by nature so cannot guarantee you won’t encounter any.
Portable a/c is in bedroom only, fans are available for other spaces. 1. Parking of 2 cars only on the property and in the garage. Height of garage is 6`8`. 2. Garage door to be kept shut when not actively using. 3. Trash to be disposed of in the bear-proof dumpster only. 4. No smoking of any kind allowed on the property. No open flames or candles are allowed on the property. 5. 4 occupants maximum per city ordinance. 6. Town quiet hours are from 10 pm - 7 am. Please be kind to your neighbors and observe these quiet times. 7. Only guests on the original booking are allowed to stay overnight. 8. Pets are not allowed. 9. Garage door clickers are provided, if they are not returned a $50/each charge will be assessed. 10. Roof sheds ice and snow in the winter. Avoid walking under the edge of the roof. Do not park under overhang. Be careful of ice in the parking lot. 11. No events or parties allowed of any kind.

Great location- spacious, clean, easy walk to restaurants and stores. The garage is a huge plus for those of us with an EV- Back in-plug and you are fully charged the next morning. The garage is spacious and keeps your car out of the elements
We have used VRBO for many years and different locations throughout the United States.
We were very pleased with our stay here.
The location was perfect for golf, food, and walks.
The only recommendation i would give is to put in a king size bed in the main room, as we had to sleep in separate beds.
other than that, it was perfect!!
Very clean, modern and comfortable. Storage bins provided for groceries or other supplies. No real need to use your car in bad weather, as you can walk to Red, Green or Purple bus line. Only criticism is that the walls were pretty thin so we could hear our neighbors frequently. We'd definitely stay again.
I’ve never had such a relaxing stay in Mammoth. Great location, beautiful remodeling, open design and mountain views 5 mins from the village. I will definitely book my next stay at this location.
Apartment was very clean and cutely decorated. The garages were a huge bonus and we left our skis and bikes in them which is great. There was EV charging so we didn’t have to use the super charging station in town that is usually full. Julie was communicative and overall the kitchen had everything you need to make meals. We will definitely stay here in the future again!

My husband and I remodeled our building in Mammoth Lakes so that we can share the awesomeness of Mammoth with everyone. We try our best to get our kids outside on adventures as much as possible!

The apartment is steps away from popular restaurants and shops. The free town shuttle bus is a 1 minute walk away which gives access to Mammoth Mountain lodges, Lakes Basin, Reds Meadow. The nearest grocery store is a 5 minute walk.
